Telegram gift cases and battles: where your Stars quietly vanish

A friend shows you their profile: a numbered gift with a rare backdrop and pattern. Yours holds a plain teddy bear. Ten minutes later you are reading about cases, NFT upgrades and selling things for Stars.

Mini apps have grown around gifts, and some raffle them, some spin them in a reel, some send them into a fight. Here is how that works and where the money hides.

Where collectible gifts came from

Gifts arrived in autumn 2024. In early 2025 they became upgradeable to collectibles: each has a number, model, backdrop and pattern, and lives on the TON blockchain. Telegram then added a marketplace where they sell for Stars.

  • January 2026: a collectible can be worn as an emoji status, and the profile picks up an effect and a backdrop in its colors.
  • 🛠️ February 2026: crafting. Up to four gifts merge into one rarer gift, with the outcome decided by probabilities.
  • 📌 Scale: there are over a hundred collections now.

The market cooled after its peak. Third-party trackers showed trading volumes for popular collections falling in early 2026. Top pieces sold for tens of thousands of dollars, but those are single cases.

What sets a gift price

A regular gift is cheap to buy and converts back to Stars at a loss. Upgrading to a collectible costs money too, and sources quote different amounts, so check the figure inside Telegram itself.

  • 🎯 Rarity comes from model, backdrop, pattern and number. A low number with a rare backdrop is worth more, though that is taste and demand.
  • 💸 Judge a case win by recent sales of similar gifts on the marketplace, not by the prize description.
  • ⚖️ Income from digital assets and gambling are regulated differently from country to country. For sizable sums, check the rules where you live.

💡 Three of the four apps below run on chance and one runs on strategy. That gap matters more than any interface.

Four apps: reels, a wheel and an arena

Gift Go: a reel hundreds of thousands spin

The most widely used app on the list, with hundreds of thousands of monthly users. You pay a little, tap a button, the reel spins and a prize appears.

  • ✅ Inside: cases with a shot at a rare gift.
    • Public descriptions say little about the rules.
    • Read the odds and the prize list in the app before your first payment.
  • ⚠️ Downside: most prizes are worth less than the case, or the service would not last.
  • 🔒 Permissions: if the bot asks to manage your gifts and Stars through Telegram Business, say no.
  • 👤 Fits you if you accept gambling mechanics and set a budget first.

Easy Gift: cases with a demo mode

Cases for Stars with gifts of different value inside, collectibles among them. There is one free case a day and a demo that shows the mechanics at no cost.

  • 🎁 Plus: you can practice in the demo and pay nothing.
    • A won gift can be kept, sold or moved to your account.
    • Check its real price on the Telegram marketplace, which is often lower than hoped.
  • ⚠️ Fair warning: the free case usually returns a couple of Stars and a collectible drops rarely. Catalogs file the app under gambling.
  • 💸 Refunds: spent Stars do not come back.
  • 👤 Best for: anyone trying cases with the demo and a hard limit.

Gift Spinner: a wheel for every day

A daily wheel and cases, a collection of won gifts, trading with friends and a leaderboard. No sign-up, everything runs inside Telegram, and around 150 thousand people use it monthly.

  • 🎁 Free: the daily tries. If you stay on those, it is a calm two-minute game.
  • ⚠️ Where it shifts: the app offers extra tries or cases for Stars, TON or gifts. From there the mechanics lean toward gambling and the odds are unclear.
  • 📌 Price check: ordinary gifts are worth little, collectibles noticeably more, so compare with the marketplace.
  • 👤 Fits you if you want a light routine and plan to pay nothing.

Gift Kombat: your gift enters the arena

The only app here where the result depends on more than luck. A collectible gift becomes a fighter, and you decide where to put the experience.

  • 🛠️ How it plays:
    1. Pick a gift as your fighter.
    2. Spend experience on strength, speed or a special move.
    3. Find artifacts and fight other players.
  • ⏱️ Pace: fights are short and a few minutes is enough. There is a chest hunt and a ranking.
  • 🔒 Before you start: you need at least one gift upgraded to an NFT. The bot's help command explains how to link it. Read that first and understand what stays in your profile.
  • ⚠️ Downside: rewards are promised but income is not, and gift prices and reward rules change. The project began as an alpha test, with news in its official channel.

Seven rules that protect your Stars

In cases you pay for randomness and lose on average. In battles you risk time and a gift, and your choices affect the outcome, though chance remains.

  1. ⏱️ Budget: an amount you can afford to lose. Hit the limit, close the app.
  2. 🎯 No chasing: a losing streak does not improve the next opening.
  3. 📌 Odds: if the prize list and probabilities are hidden, stop.
  4. 💸 Prize versus case price: check the marketplace, not the shiny picture.
  5. 🔒 Permissions: never give a third-party bot control of gifts and Stars.
  6. 🛠️ Bot name: lookalikes are everywhere, so compare names.
  7. ⚠️ Private messages: a request to send a gift for a check or a bonus is a scam.

Parents: teenagers pick up these mechanics fast. See if your child has linked payment methods, and explain that a random prize is not income.

⚠️ Stars bought in Telegram cannot officially be cashed out. A collectible sells for Stars on the built-in marketplace or moves to NFT platforms through TON, and its price can fall faster than it rose.

Once a week, open your spending history and compare it with what you won. The numbers sober you up better than any advice.
