About this App
A tutor with ten students has to remember who studies when, who owes which homework and who has paid. Parents message privately about progress, and the schedule lives in three different notes. KITON gathers all of that in one place inside Telegram.
The bot calls itself a helper for interaction between students, tutors and parents. A web version sits next to it and opens with the /web command, while /menu brings up the main menu.
Four things that tend to get lost
The bot's profile describes a record-keeping system with four directions.
- Lesson schedule. When and with whom the lesson is, with no screenshots forwarded around.
- Homework. What was assigned and what has been handed in.
- Payments and balance. How much is paid and how many lessons remain.
- Progress and reports. Results for each student separately.
That set covers the daily routine of a private teacher.
Why a messenger makes sense
Students and parents already sit in Telegram, so they do not have to install yet another app. Information about lessons sits right where everyday conversation already happens.
For the tutor it saves on forwarding and clarifying. "What time tomorrow?" and "How much do I owe?" turn into requests to the bot.
Money tracking without spreadsheets
Private lessons are often paid in bundles. The balance has to be exact, because a dispute over how many lessons are left damages the relationship.
The payment record in the bot helps keep that balance. Just remember that the bot stores entries you make, and it does not replace the agreement with your client. If you accept transfers, compare them with your bank statement.
Reports for parents
Parents of schoolchildren want to see progress over time, not only grades. A short report on what was covered, what works and what needs work lowers anxiety and cuts the private messages.
A good report is specific: lesson topics, completed tasks, one or two goals for the coming week. General phrases like "studying well" tell nobody anything.
- Record the topic. Write down what you covered in the lesson.
- Mark the homework. Done, not done, done with mistakes.
- Set a goal. What to focus on by the next lesson.
Where a tutor can start
Do not try to move everything in one evening. It is better to go step by step, so students have time to adjust their habits.
- Week one. Enter the schedule and invite your students.
- Week two. Start recording homework in the bot instead of in chats.
- Week three. Switch on payment tracking and compare the balance with your old notes.
This order reduces the risk of confusion and helps you spot inconveniences early.
A very young project
The bot has a small audience so far, which makes it a growing service and not an established standard. Before you move all your students into it, test it on one or two: how convenient is the schedule, are the reports clear.
Help with the bot is available through the support contact listed in its profile.
Student data
The records hold names, payments and children's results. Do not add more than needed: a name and a subject are enough. If you work with minors, get the parents' consent to store data in the service.
