Notico: Reminders in Telegram

Mini App • Tasks & Notes

About this App

You forgot to congratulate a colleague, were late for a call, paid a bill too late. Everyone has a planner and a calendar, but few like opening them, while Telegram stays open all day. Notico reminds you of tasks right inside a chat. 🎂

The bot understands everyday phrases and works out the time itself. English and Russian are supported.

Write it like you would to a person

Instead of a form with fields, you send a message. The bot description gives examples such as wishing someone a happy birthday tomorrow at 9 am and a meeting in 30 minutes.

Notico picks the date and time out of the text and turns the rest into the reminder. You do not hunt for a day in a calendar or spin a clock wheel.

One-time or on a schedule

A reminder can be one-time or repeating. The profile mentions daily, weekly and other repeats, which suits routine tasks.

  • Every day. Medication, water, a workout.
  • Every week. Take out the trash, send a report, a team call.
  • Once a month. Pay a subscription, submit meter readings.
  • One time. A meeting, a call, a train ticket.

Groups and topics

A notable plus is that the bot works in groups and in forum topics. You can set a reminder for the whole company as well as for yourself.

That helps anyone running a family chat, a work group or a club: a reminder about a meeting or a payment reaches everyone at once with no manual chasing. For groups with topics, the /add_topic command adds a topic to the bot. 👥

Commands

  • /start. Launch and the menu.
  • /add_topic. Add a group topic.
  • /help. Help and suggestions for improvement.
  • /cancel. Cancel the current action.

If you get tangled mid-way, /cancel takes you back to the start without saving an unfinished reminder.

Wording that helps the bot get it right

  1. State the time clearly: "at 6:30 pm", "in two hours", "tomorrow at 9".
  2. For repeats, name the frequency in words: every day, once a week.
  3. Keep the point short so it reads on a lock screen.
  4. Check the bot's confirmation: it shows when the reminder will fire.

Do not forget the time zone. If you travel, check that the bot's time matches local time. ⏰

What not to rely on it for

A messenger reminder is good for everyday tasks, but it is no replacement for an emergency alarm. If missing a letter or a payment costs real money, duplicate the important reminder in your phone calendar.

  • Notifications. If you mute the chat or Telegram, the reminder arrives silently. Check your settings.
  • Personal data. Do not put passwords, card numbers or codes in reminders.
  • Groups. Everyone in the group sees a group reminder, so keep the wording neutral.

Who finds it handy

People who already live in Telegram and do not want another app. Chat admins who need to remind members of an event. Anyone with an overloaded calendar for whom a chat message stands out more. ✅

If you need a big planner with projects and subtasks, pick a dedicated app. For simple reminders the bot is enough.
