Niko: A Game in Your Chat

A friends' chat often wakes up only on holidays and stays silent the rest of the time. Niko gives everyone a shared pastime: a farm, pets, fishing, quests and leaderboards, all inside the conversation 🌼

There is nothing to download and no registration. The bot works inside Telegram. Tap /start and begin with your profile.

Your profile, race and status

First you create a character: pick a race and gender, set a status and level up. Race and gender can be changed later with /setrace and /setgender.

There are personal touches too: set a birthday with /setbday and tune privacy with /privacy. If you prefer to share little, check privacy first 🔕

The economy starts on a garden bed

The farm opens with /farm. You plant seeds, harvest crops, keep animals in a pen and cook dishes from what you grow.

That is only one source of income. More ways to gather resources:

• Fishing: the /fishing command.
• Mine: /mining for ore.
• Sawmill: /sawmill.
• Crafting and quests: /craft and /quests to make items and finish tasks.

Pets that need looking after

You can collect and raise animals. There are common and rare ones, for example a kitten, a husky or a fire fox. A pet is fed, washed, healed and played with, so it asks for attention like a real one 🐾

The /pets command shows your collection, and /zoo_shop opens a pet store where you spend in-game currency.

Mini-games for the whole chat

For short breaks there are Mines, a slot machine, a memory puzzle and PvP games with bets against other players. The slot jackpot goes to the chat's treasury.

Bets happen inside the bot's game economy: you earn currency, claim a daily bonus with /bonus, send money to friends and sell the resources you gathered. Before risking your savings, remember that in any game with random outcomes you can lose it all 🎰

Friends, marriages, likes

The game is built for communication. You can add friends, marry other chat members, hand out likes and use dozens of RP commands: hug, kiss, hit and so on.

RP actions are meant as a game joke, but everyone has personal limits. If you or the other person feels uncomfortable, stop, and the chat admin can restrict the commands.

Tools for admins

You add the bot to a group and give it admin rights, which takes under a minute. Besides the game features, it has moderation tools: bans, mutes, flood protection, greetings for newcomers and flexible settings.

• Leaderboards: rankings of players, treasuries, chats, donations and marriages.
• Guides: separate references for game commands and for moderator commands.
• News: updates are published in the project channel.

Donations: what to keep in mind

The command list includes /donat. Spending real money is always best done deliberately, especially if the player is a minor. Check exactly what you are buying and set yourself a limit.
