How it works, step by step

1. Copy the link using the Share button or your browser address bar.
2. Open Download IT and tap /start.
3. Paste the link into the chat.
4. Pick a format if the bot offers options, such as video or audio only.
5. Save or forward the file you get back.

You can switch the interface language with /language. There is also a mini app, and /miniapp lets you change its domain if the default address does not load for you.

Just the sound, please

Plenty of YouTube content works fine without the picture: podcasts, lectures, live sets, interviews. Download IT can extract and convert the audio track, so you get a small file you can play with the screen off 🎧

Audio also takes far less space on your phone than video. If you build a playlist of talks for a long drive, this is the format to use.

Limits worth knowing

• Private accounts are off limits. If a profile is closed, only approved followers can see the posts, and no downloader can reach them.
• Huge files may fail. Telegram caps the size of files a bot can send, so a multi-hour video in top quality may not go through. Try audio or a lower resolution.
• Platforms change things. When a site updates its protection, downloads can break for a while. Fixes usually come quickly, so try again later.
