About this App
Get me something useful pleases nobody, neither the giver nor the receiver. A wishlist solves that: you write your wants in advance, and loved ones choose from it. WishHub does this inside Telegram, with no extra sites or sign-ups 🎁
The project motto: create wishlists, share them with loved ones and get exactly what you want. The app was developed under the name WishWorks.
Opening the WishBoard
The main screen is called WishBoard, and it opens with /start. This is where your wishes live, from a coffee mug to a trip.
The profile describes the service as wishlists on Telegram for gifts and everything you want. So the list need not hold only holiday presents 🛍
Commands that save time
- /gift. Helps find a gift idea when you do not know what to pick.
- /import. Creates a wish from text: handy if you copied a product description.
- /help. Command help.
- /support. Contact support.
- /paysupport. Payment help.
- /refundimport. Refund for an unused import pack.
The last command's name shows that importing wishes may be a paid pack, refundable when unused. See prices and terms in the bot itself before paying.
Building a wishlist that actually works
- Open WishBoard with /start and add a few wishes.
- Split them by price: some cheap, some mid-range, some dreams.
- Add details: size, color, model, where to look.
- Share the list with the people who usually give you gifts.
- Refresh the list after holidays.
The more specific the wish, the lower the chance of getting the wrong thing. The single word headphones means nothing, while a model name does.
When you are the one choosing a gift
The /gift command helps when you pick a present for someone else. Think ahead: age, interests, budget and occasion. With those inputs, any idea search works better.
A good gift often ties to a shared memory or a hobby. If your friend has a wishlist, pick from it: that way you will not miss 🎯
Wishlist etiquette and privacy
- Do not ask only for expensive things. Add cheaper options too.
- Share the list selectively. Do not post it where everyone sees it.
- Keep other people's personal data out. Addresses and phone numbers do not belong in wishes.
Tell loved ones when a wish is fulfilled so you do not receive a double gift. That is the most common flaw of shared lists.
