UXUY Wallet: A Crypto Wallet in Telegram

Crypto wallets usually ask for a separate app, a browser extension and an hour of figuring things out. UXUY Wallet lives inside Telegram: you open the bot and the wallet is already in your hand.

It was built by the UXUY team, and the bot's own description calls it the first self-custody multi-chain wallet based on Telegram. It launched on 23 August 2024. 👛

The keys are yours, not the chat's

A self-custody wallet means access to the funds is decided by your key, not by a company. If you lose the key, nobody can bring the money back, and support is powerless.

So the first thing to do after creating a wallet is to store the recovery phrase somewhere safe outside your phone. Not in notes, not in the cloud and not in a chat.

Which networks it covers

According to the project, the wallet works with EVM networks, Solana, TRON and TON, and the list is meant to grow. The bot is also described as a Bitcoin Lightning wallet.

Lightning exists for fast, cheap bitcoin transfers. The main Bitcoin network is slower and charges noticeable fees, while Lightning is a layer on top for small payments. The project claims zero fees for transfers in that mode.

Three commands in the bot

• /start. Launches the bot and opens the wallet.
• /earn. Shows tasks that promise bitcoin as a reward.
• /invite. Gives you a referral link for inviting friends.

Read the reward terms inside the bot itself. Amounts and rules can change, so think of them as a pleasant extra.

Trading and social features

The team added a decentralized app center and social trading inside Telegram crypto groups. The idea is to run trading commands with one click right in the chat.

That is convenient and risky at once. Quick trades in meme tokens easily lead to losses, especially when someone else's chat message pushes you to decide emotionally. ⚠️

Before your first deposit

1. Confirm the bot is official. Compare the username with the one on the project's website. Clones are common.
2. Save the recovery phrase. Write it down offline and check that you can restore the wallet.
3. Start small. Send a test transfer and make sure it arrives.
4. Check the network. A Solana address and an EVM address are not interchangeable, and a mistake means a lost transfer.
5. Never type the phrase anywhere. Wallet support does not ask for it.

Pocket wallet or safe wallet

If you need to send a small amount quickly or try DeFi without installing apps, a Telegram wallet is handy. For long-term storage of large sums many people prefer hardware wallets.

Think of a Telegram wallet as a pocket for everyday operations, not as a safe. Keep only what you could stand to lose in the worst case.
