Lime Smile: Telegram VPN bot

The name Lime Smile sounds like a greeting card app, but it is actually a VPN service sold and managed through a Telegram bot. You get a connection key in the chat and pay with Telegram Stars. 🍋

Below is what the service promises, what it costs and which rules to know before paying.

What a subscription includes

On its website the service describes itself as a private VPN style proxy. The claimed features:

• VLESS with Reality: a modern way to disguise traffic, which lowers the chance of detection.
• No traffic cap and no speed throttling.
• Unlimited devices.
• No activity logs: this is the service's own claim, and we found no independent audit.
• Round the clock support through a separate bot.

Prices and payment

According to the website, 30 days cost 250 rubles and 60 days cost 350 rubles. The longer plan works out to about 5.8 rubles a day.

You can pay only with Telegram Stars. That is handy if you already hold Stars, but remember app store fees when buying them.

Where you can connect

Clients exist for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS, as well as routers that accept custom connections. An Android APK can be downloaded straight from the website.

The site lists servers in Germany (Frankfurt, the default), the Netherlands, France, Sweden, Russia, Kazakhstan, the USA and Brazil.

The bot has four commands:

• /start shows information about the service.
• /keys opens your connection keys.
• /lang changes the language.
• /fup shows the fair use policy.

Rules you cannot skip

The fair use policy is strict. Torrenting and P2P are banned, and violators are blocked without a refund. Attacks on other servers, port scanning and excessive load also lead to restrictions without warning.

Read /fup before paying, not after a ban.

Connecting step by step

1. Launch the bot and read the info under /start.
2. Pay for a plan with Stars.
3. Open /keys and copy your key.
4. Add the key to a client for your system.
5. Check your new IP address on any IP lookup site.

Why Reality matters

Ordinary VPN traffic is often recognizable by its patterns, and a provider may slow it down. Reality mode makes the connection resemble a regular TLS visit to a website. That makes this approach harder to spot and block.

For you it means fewer dropped connections on filtered networks. No protocol is a guarantee, though: quality depends on the network, the operator and the server you choose. If one server underperforms, try another location. 🌍

Pay with Stars only after confirming that the bot and the website lead to the same service.

What to remember about any VPN

A VPN moves trust from your internet provider to the service owner. So begin with a short plan. Your country's laws still apply, and encryption will not protect you from phishing or malicious files. 🔐
