Your Waifu: Pick Your Character

A role, a plot, a heroine and you at the centre of the story. Your Waifu offers a short path to such a dialogue: open the mini app in Telegram, choose a character and start writing. 💞

The bot's tagline reads like an invitation: choose your waifu and enjoy the chat. Everything that happens in the conversation is invented by a language model.

What a waifu is

The word came from anime culture and means a fictional character you feel fond of. Here it is a heroine with a name, a personality and a way of speaking who answers your messages.

The profile calls the service a roleplay experience. So the main activity is not questions and answers but acting out situations: you set the scene and the character plays her part.

How a roleplay chat goes

1. Open the bot and launch the mini app.
2. Pick a heroine from the list.
3. Describe the situation in a couple of lines: where you are, what is happening, who you imagine yourself to be.
4. Keep talking. The character picks up the tone and you steer the plot.

The more specific your setup, the better the reply. The model relies on what you wrote and cannot read your mind.

What such services give

• Talk without a schedule. The partner answers at any hour.
• Creativity. Roleplay trains imagination and helps invent plots and characters.
• Language practice. Many people use such chats to practice a foreign language.
• Distraction. A light conversation helps you switch off after work.

What to know in advance

The AI companion genre sparks much debate, and for good reasons.

• Attachment. A character who is always kind and available can easily replace real contact. Watch your time.
• Data. Your chat passes through the service's server. Do not write your real name, address, passwords or payment details.
• Paid features. Apps like this often split features into basic and paid. The bot profile names no prices, so read the terms inside.
• Content. A language model can write almost anything. Adult themes require being 18 or older, and teenagers should not use such a chat.

Writing prompts that keep the story alive

Begin with a short setup: time, place, mood of the scene. Then add details one at a time so the model does not lose the thread.

If the heroine drops out of character, remind her of the role in one sentence. You can restart the conversation at any moment and lose nothing but the current scene.

Pay with care

If the app offers coins or a subscription, check the period, how to cancel and what exactly gets opened. Do not send money through links outside Telegram.

Never give the bot login codes or seed phrases. A real service has no need for them.

Who it is for

For people who enjoy anime aesthetics, stories and improvisation, and who understand that no person sits behind the screen. If you need advice from a doctor or psychologist, choose a real specialist.

The project is actively used, so features may change. Trust what you see in the app itself.
