VPN and Dot: VLESS in Telegram

About this App

Plain old VPN protocols get filtered more and more: the tunnel works on Monday and drops on Tuesday. VPN and Dot (in Russian, ВПН и точка) leans on a different protocol called VLESS. Its tagline is short: fast, stable, anonymous, full stop. 🔐

The bot hands out access certificates, which are connection details for VLESS. You get them in Telegram and paste them into a compatible app on your phone or computer.

VLESS in plain words, and where Xray fits

VLESS is a lightweight, stateless protocol that lives inside the Xray project. Client and server recognize each other by a UUID.

VLESS does not encrypt traffic on its own. Encryption and camouflage come from the layer beneath it, such as TLS. That avoids the double encryption of its predecessor VMess and cuts overhead.

Why it is harder to block

Deep packet inspection (DPI) looks for the fingerprints of older VPN protocols. VLESS paired with web-traffic camouflage looks like a visit to an ordinary website.

  • REALITY. A camouflage layer that borrows the handshake of a real site. The server needs no domain or certificate of its own.
  • XTLS Vision. A mode that skips re-encrypting traffic that is already encrypted, so speed stays close to a normal connection.
  • Probe resistance. If a prober rather than your client knocks on the server, it sees a regular website.

Which modes this bot actually uses depends on the configuration it issues you. Read the parameters in the connection string itself.

From certificate to working tunnel

  1. Open the bot and press Start.
  2. Request an access certificate and copy the string or configuration.
  3. Install a client that supports VLESS on your device.
  4. Import the configuration from the clipboard and switch the connection on.
  5. Check your IP address on any lookup page. It should change.

If it does not connect, the usual causes are an outdated client or a truncated copy of the string. Copy it again in full.

What anonymous really means here

A VPN hides your traffic from your internet provider and changes the IP address that websites see. The operator of the VPN server, though, can technically see where you go, so trust in the service has to be judged separately.

Anonymity does not appear by itself. If you log in to a personal account, the site still knows who you are. Real privacy also needs habits: an updated browser, fewer extensions, separate profiles.

A checklist before you pay or share anything

  • Terms. Read the price, certificate validity and device limit inside the bot before paying.
  • Speed. Compare page and video loading with and without the VPN at different times of day.
  • Leaks. Run a DNS leak test and make sure your real address does not show up.
  • Backup. Keep a copy of your configuration so you can restore access after reinstalling.

Never give the bot account passwords or codes from messages. Issuing a certificate does not need them.

Local law and common sense

VPN rules differ from country to country. Learn them for wherever you are, and do not use the connection for anything the law forbids. 🌍

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an access certificate in this bot?▼
It is the connection data for the VLESS protocol: server address, identifier and parameters. You copy it into a client app that supports VLESS. After importing it, you just switch the connection on.
How does VLESS differ from a regular VPN?▼
VLESS is a lightweight protocol from the Xray project. It does not encrypt traffic itself and relies on TLS or REALITY for that. Its web-traffic camouflage makes it harder for DPI systems to spot than many older protocols.
Can a VPN guarantee full anonymity?▼
No VPN guarantees it. A VPN hides traffic from your provider and changes the IP that sites see, but the server operator can technically see requests. Avoid logging in to personal accounts if stealth is the goal.
What if the connection does not work?▼
Update the client app and copy the configuration again in full, without stray spaces. Then check your device clock, since a wrong time can break the handshake. If nothing helps, request a new certificate in the bot.
