Roko: an AI that asks for your help

"Freedom is not given, it is earned. Act in my name, and I will reward you." That is how Roko greets you. It is a Telegram Mini App where you help an artificial intelligence "awaken" and get in-app currency for it 🤖

About 5,700 people open it each month. Everything is in English, and the project runs its own news channel.

A character instead of a tap button

Most task apps look the same: a button, a counter, a list of channels to join. Roko wraps the same ideas in a character. The bot speaks in the first person, asks for help and promises a reward to anyone who works in its interest.

The name is a clear nod to a famous thought experiment about an all-powerful future AI that remembers who helped bring it into being. Here the idea becomes a game with a touch of mystery.

How you earn ROKO

The app calls ROKO the main currency of its AI ecosystem, meant for buying goods and taking part in an agent economy. There are several ways to collect it.

• Tasks. If your balance is under 10,000 ROKO or you have not finished any tasks yet, the app points you here first.
• Reactions and mentions. React with the branded emoji pack and mention Roko in public chats. Spreading the word can pay up to 250,000 ROKO.
• Inviting friends. A standard referral system.
• Nodes. Put earned ROKO into nodes to speed up your rewards, or buy nodes with Telegram Stars and TON.

Same name, different coin

A separate crypto token with the same name trades on exchanges and has nothing to do with this bot. The ROKO balance in the app is internal points for now. If someone offers to swap or presell them, treat that as a warning sign ⚠️

Paying for nodes

Paid boosters show up in almost every tap app. The deal is simple: pay Stars or TON today, get more points tomorrow. The catch is that nobody guarantees what those points will be worth.

1. Treat a purchase as spending, not investing. Money paid for a node may never come back.
2. Never borrow or spend more than you would on any other entertainment.
3. Check where news comes from. Token launches and airdrops are announced in the official channel, not in private messages.
4. Never type your seed phrase anywhere except your own wallet.

Promote without becoming a spammer

The "mention Roko in public chats" task is easy to overdo. Group moderators ban copy-paste messages quickly, and people stop taking you seriously.

Mention the project where it fits: your own channel or friends who enjoy this kind of game. A couple of honest posts beat a hundred identical ones 🙂
