Joi Lopez: AI Girlfriend 18+

This app is for adults 18+ only. Joi Lopez is a virtual character: a flirty AI girlfriend whose description presents her as a California girl in Rio. She is not a real person but a program that writes replies. 🌊

The service now lives under the LipBytes project. Joi started as a standalone service, and the website later moved to the new brand.

Who Joi is

The character holds a playful, free-flowing conversation and speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Russian and Arabic. News goes out in a channel, and support runs through a separate contact.

The bot opens as a mini app, and the /upgrade command offers premium. 💎

What reviewers say

One independent reviewer called Joi the feature-richest AI companion on Telegram. The list included image and video generation, six language models and deep character customization.

Earlier versions let you adjust personality traits and pick one of six voices. Crypto payments were added later.

What it costs

The main complaint in reviews is price. According to the reviewer, premium cost about $17.77 a month but did not cover most features, and many things were charged separately in an in-app currency.

• Check the plan: see current prices inside the bot.
• Watch spending: in-app currency runs out faster than it seems.
• Bank statement: the payment label may not be very discreet.

Privacy and personal data

The project's site says conversations are processed by automated systems to write replies and improve the product, nobody reads them routinely, data is not sold and is deleted on request. That is the service's own statement, and you cannot verify it.

So act as if someone else could read the chat. 🔐

• Do not share your real name, address or workplace.
• Do not send documents or intimate photos showing your face.
• Do not type card details into the chat. Pay only through the official section.

The emotional side

An AI companion is always there and always kind. That feels good, and it can easily replace real contact. If you notice you spend more and more time and money on the bot, take a break. ⚠️

Remember that the character is built to please you. It does not know you the way a person does, even if it "remembers" earlier chats.

Trying it with care

1. Confirm that you are 18 or older.
2. Start with the free part and see if you like the style.
3. Set a personal limit on money and time.
4. Only then decide if premium is worth it.

A similarly named website offers a general assistant for chat and translation. It is a different product, so do not mix them up. 🔎
