About this App
Most chatbots forget you the moment you close the window. You told one about your job yesterday, and today you start from scratch. Reverie works differently: its characters keep track of your conversations, so something you say today can come back a month later. 🌙
It is a Telegram mini app for talking to AI characters, used by about 20,000 people a month.
A companion with opinions
The creators focus on three things, and each one changes how the chat feels.
- Long memory. Characters remember details from past talks: names, events, your habits.
- Reading between the lines. A character can doubt you, tease you and disagree instead of nodding along.
- Trust has to be earned. You cannot talk a character into anything. The relationship builds over time, a bit like with a real person.
The result feels closer to an interactive story than to a help-desk assistant. People come here to chat, play out a role-play plot or just pass an evening.
Getting started ✨
- Tap Start in the bot and open the mini app.
- Pick a character. Read the profiles and choose a personality you find interesting.
- Send your first message. It is free, so you can try things out without paying.
- Use /menu to open the actions menu at any time.
What costs money
Your first message is free, and further chatting is paid. For payment and refund questions there is a separate /paysupport command, while /support reaches general help.
Simple advice: use the free message to see if you like a character's style. Then decide how much you want to spend and stick to that number. 💳
Why memory is the whole point
A standard language model only sees the current chunk of a conversation. To make a character remember, the service stores key facts from earlier chats and feeds them into new replies. That is how a character can ask how the story you mentioned last week turned out.
The flip side: everything you write is stored on the service's servers. That is a fair price for memory, but keep it in mind.
A few level-headed reminders 🧠
Reverie characters are convincing, which is the idea. Still, there is an AI model behind them, not a person, and that is easy to forget after a long chat.
- Keep private data private. Passport numbers, passwords, card details and your address have no place in an AI chat.
- Watch the clock. If chatting with a character starts replacing time with real people, take a break.
- Do not treat advice as expert advice. On health, money and legal issues, an AI character is no substitute for a professional.
- Track spending. Small per-message payments add up quietly.
With that in mind, Reverie works well for light conversation, role-play stories and writing practice. And sometimes it is fun to argue with someone who really does not give in on the first try.
