About this App
Your graduation photo was taken on an ancient phone, and the only picture of your great-grandfather is so blurry you cannot see his eyes. The Improve Photo bot takes images like that and sends back a sharper version right in the chat 📷
It is fully automatic: send a picture, wait a moment, get the result. Around 40,000 people use it every month, and it has been running since 2022.
What happens to your picture
- Sharpening. Soft edges get crisp and noise goes away.
- Upscaling. A small image grows larger without turning into blocks.
- Color and brightness. Dull or dark frames look livelier.
- Face restoration. The developer switched to a newer neural network so faces look natural even on very poor sources.
The trick behind it
Tools like this are trained on pairs of bad and good versions of the same photo. The model learns how eyes, hair, skin and textures usually look, then fills in details that are barely visible in your original.
That is also the main limit. It is reconstruction, not recovery. The network guesses details, so a face on a very old print may come out slightly different. Fine for a family album, not fine for documents or evidence ⚠️
Commands worth knowing
- /quality sets the processing quality.
- /settings opens the other options.
- /ava turns your photo into profile pictures.
- /partner shows the referral program for inviting new users.
- /help explains the bot and lists the advertising contact.
Send a file, not a photo
Telegram compresses images sent as photos. If quality matters, send your original as a file (document) and save the result as a file too. That keeps every pixel the network produced.
Telegram has size limits on files, so shrink huge camera shots a little before sending 🙂
Tips for better output
- Scan instead of snapping. A flat scan beats a phone shot of a print taken at an angle with glare.
- Leave some context. Do not crop too tightly around a face, the model needs surroundings.
- Try both quality levels. If a shot is dark and blurry, run it with different settings and compare.
For quick fixes to chat photos, old album pictures and avatars, the bot does the job. For detailed retouching with manual control, you still want a proper graphics editor.
