A translator that lives in your chat

About this App

A colleague in Turkey posts in the team chat, your landlord abroad sends a voice note, and the label on a box at the store is in a language you cannot read. This translator handles all of that in one place inside Telegram, with no ads 🌍

Close to 14,000 people use it every month. Send /start and you are ready to translate.

Type it, get it back translated

The basic flow is as simple as it gets. Type or forward a message and the bot replies with the translation. Pick your target language in /settings.

Translations can be read aloud. That helps when you need to say a phrase to a taxi driver or check how a word sounds 🔊

Photos, voice notes and group chats

  • Smart camera (/photo). Snap a menu, a sign or a manual and the bot finds the text in the image and translates it. The same command can solve problems from a photo and generate images.
  • Voice and video notes (/voice). The bot transcribes audio and round video messages into text you can then translate.
  • Group translation (/groups). Add the bot to a chat where people write in different languages so everyone can follow along.

Group mode is a real help in work chats with foreign contractors and in building chats where neighbors speak different languages.

Vocabulary practice built in

Found a useful word? Save it to favorites, which live in /words. The bot then gives you a few ways to learn it.

  1. /learn drills your own saved words.
  2. /xlearn quizzes you on key English words.
  3. /ilearn shows key words as a list for calm review.

Memory works best with short daily reviews rather than one long cram session a week. Five minutes of quiz while you wait in line already adds up 📚

Free tier and Premium

The core features are free with limits. If you translate a lot or lean on the camera and voice transcription, Premium removes the caps. See /premium for details.

There are a few extras too, such as crypto rates (/crypto) and your personal stats (/stat). The full feature guide is under /help.

How far to trust machine translation

Machine translation does well with everyday phrases, chat messages and instructions. Legal papers, medical prescriptions and contracts still deserve a human translator.

For cleaner results, write short complete sentences and skip slang. With photos, keep the text straight and well lit 📸

Send the bot /groups and follow the steps. Usually you add the bot to the group and let it read messages. After that, members get translations right in the chat.
Can it translate voice messages?▼
Yes. The /voice command transcribes voice notes and round video messages into text, which is then translated like any other message. Less background noise means better accuracy.
How do I learn words with the bot?▼
Save useful words to favorites, listed in /words. Practice them with /learn, and cover core English vocabulary with the /xlearn quiz or the /ilearn list. Five to ten minutes a day is enough.
