About this App
Remember trading cards at school and swapping the rare ones at recess? MetaCard brings that feeling into Telegram. You open cases, pull cards featuring anime-style characters and show off your finds in the community chat 🃏
About 10,000 people play each month. The game is in Russian and works both as a bot with commands and as a web Mini App.
What comes out of a case
Cards are sorted by rarity. Common ones drop all the time, while rare ones can take weeks to find. At times the cases also include LIMITED cards and extra rare Mystic cards, which are available only for a set period.
Every card has its own stats, damage and HP. Cards of the same rarity used to share identical numbers. Now each one is individual, so even a common pull can turn out to be a strong card.
Commands worth knowing
- /getcard draws a single card.
- /megaopen opens many cards at once.
- /mycard shows your collection.
- /market opens the marketplace where players trade and sell cards.
- /metapass is the game pass with extra rewards.
- /nick changes the name other players see.
If the bot freezes, /restart resets it and /menu takes you back to the main screen.
Trading and the player community
Things get interesting after your first few dozen cards. Duplicates can go up on the marketplace, and missing ones can be bought from other players. Prices for rare cards follow demand, so they are worth watching.
The project runs an official news channel for new cards and balance changes, a chat for players and a separate bot for bug reports. All of them are listed in the bot profile 💬
The price of a lucky pull
You can play for free. The game also sells an in-game currency, coins, for real money, and coins open cases. Promotions pop up from time to time, such as double coins on your first top-up through the web version.
A case with a random reward works like a lottery ticket. You pay first and find out later. That is why these mechanics can pull people in ⚠️
- Set a monthly cap and do not top up past it.
- Do not chase one specific card through dozens of openings. Buying it from a player on the market is often cheaper.
- Kids are better off playing without a parent's card linked.
Who will enjoy it
Anime fans, collectors and anyone who likes a slow game to check for a couple of minutes a day. You do not have to compete: for many players the collecting itself is the fun.
For company, drop by the player chat. People discuss new releases, swap cards and help newcomers get started 🎴
