Jabariy: guess the phrase behind the AI art

bot • Images & Photos

About this App

Charades in a group chat usually fizzles out fast: explaining with words gets dull, and you cannot act things out in text. Jabariy fixes that. The host secretly picks a phrase, an AI model draws it, and everyone else tries to work out what the picture means. 🐸

You add the bot to a group, and the whole game plays out in the chat feed. More than 100,000 people use it each month. The interface is in Russian.

Where the frog came from

The creator wrote that the idea was to flip a popular association board game: generate an image, then guess the phrase behind it. He first tried it with classmates from a repatriation program in Israel before turning it into a bot.

Images are currently made with the Flux model. Early versions used a different generator, but the fun is the same: the trickier the phrase, the stranger the picture. 🎨

One round, start to finish

  1. Start a game. Send /game in a chat where the bot is added.
  2. Pick a phrase. The host sends it to the bot privately.
  3. Get the picture. The AI generates an image and posts it to the group.
  4. Guess. Players type answers, and the host reacts to messages to signal warm or cold.
  5. Wrap up. Correct guesses score points, and /stopgame ends the session.

Gems buy you a nudge

The game has its own currency, gems 💎. When a round gets stuck, spend them:

  • /hint gives a clue for 5 gems.
  • /letters shows how many letters are left, also 5 gems.
  • /mag opens the in-game shop.
  • /settings shows your balance and options.
  • /ref opens the referral program.

Save gems for emergencies. A hint kills a bit of the tension, but it rescues a round nobody has cracked in five minutes.

Playing solo

No friends online? Solo mode builds questions automatically around a topic you choose, so you can warm up before a group session.

There are side games too:

  • /jabochko deals a hand of 21 against the bot. ♣️
  • /photojaba takes a snapshot of the traveling frog, who has her own storyline.
  • Weekly quests rotate, along with short video riddles.
  • /stat shows who in the chat guesses most often.

Catalog listings mention word categories: regular, abstract and hard. Start beginners on regular.

Phrases that make the chat laugh

The model reads your phrase literally. A cat in boots is easy to draw and solved in seconds. An idiom like "raining cats and dogs" turns into something surreal that keeps the group guessing and laughing. 😂

  • Idioms and proverbs produce the weirdest images.
  • Movie titles work best when they contain objects.
  • Abstract words like nostalgia are for experienced players.

If you do not have a group, the project runs a public game chat linked in the bot profile, where someone is usually hosting.
