Gift Roulette: how it works in Telegram

Gift Roulette is a Telegram mini app where you pay a small fee, spin a wheel and get a random gift. The bot profile promises a "rare gift", but there is no guarantee in those words: the prize is decided by chance. 🎡

This page is for reference and is written for adults. It does not urge anyone to spin and promises no winnings. If you are under 18, or gambling is banned in your country, the app is not for you.

A wheel, a fee and a random prize

The scheme is short: you pay for a spin, the wheel stops, and a gift drops. A round takes seconds, so it is easy to lose count of how many spins you have made.

The profile calls the fee "small". But a small amount repeated many times becomes a large one. Count your total spending for the evening, not the price of one spin.

What the bot commands tell you

The bot has three commands: start, terms and payment support. The last two matter most: they describe the payment rules and what to do if you were charged and no prize arrived.

• Terms. Read them before the first payment: what counts as a prize, when it is issued, whether refunds exist.
• Payment support. This is the official route for settling disputes about payments with Stars inside Telegram.
• Screenshots. Save the spin result and the payment receipt until you are sure the gift has arrived.

What a rare gift is really worth

The word "rare" in an advert says nothing about price. Telegram gifts trade on a market, and demand sets their value. A gift that drops can be worth less than the fee for the spin.

The owner sets the prize distribution. When expensive gifts drop rarely, the operator comes out ahead over time. The player cannot check the random number generator.

Keeping losses inside the plan

1. Set a monthly limit whose loss will not hurt your budget.
2. Do not pay with Stars bought on credit or with money meant for bills.
3. Do not chase losses: spins are independent of each other.
4. Decline offers of "cheap Stars" from strangers and never send them gifts.
5. Do not enter a seed phrase or codes from other people's messages.

Stars and the payment side

Payments inside Telegram run on Stars, which are sold in the Telegram app at official prices. Third-party sellers may quote less, but the risk of losing both money and account access grows with the discount.

Pay only inside Telegram and keep the receipts. That makes it easier to prove a payment if a prize never arrives, and to contact payment support.

A small audience: what it means

The app has a small audience, so it is a young project. Services like this can change or close quickly, so do not keep savings in them and do not build up a balance for later.

Law and addiction

Paid roulettes count as gambling in many countries. Some allow them only with a licence, others ban them. Following local law is the user's responsibility. 🔞

If you spend more than planned, hide spending or borrow money, stop and ask for help. Most countries have free helplines for people with gambling problems.
