Gift Fiesta: a gift roulette in Telegram

Gift Fiesta is a Telegram mini app with a gift roulette and events where rare gifts are given out. The project has its own channel for news. Below is how roulettes like this work and what a participant risks. 🎰

This page is for reference and is written for adults. It does not urge anyone to take part and promises no winnings. If you are under 18, or gambling is banned in your country, the app is not for you.

A roulette that drops gifts

The profile describes the app as a gift roulette with events. The mechanic is the usual one: a wheel stops at a random prize, and the prize here is a Telegram gift.

Telegram gifts are tokens on the TON blockchain, so they can be kept, transferred and sold. A prize that drops therefore has a market price, and it may differ from the value the roulette states.

Events: one-off draws with a deadline

Besides plain spins, the app runs events. These are typically time-limited draws with a pool of prizes, sometimes with entry conditions such as subscribing to a channel, paying to enter or placing a stake.

• Event rules. Read the conditions in full: who can take part, what has to be paid and by when.
• Prize rarity. The word "rare" in a description says nothing about price. Market demand decides that.
• The deadline. Urgency pushes people toward quick decisions. Set a limit beforehand.

Why a roulette stays a gambling game

If a spin or an entry costs Stars, TON or gifts, you are paying for a chance. A random number generator decides the result, and the player cannot check it.

The owner sets the prize distribution. When expensive gifts drop rarely, the operator comes out ahead over time. Nobody can guarantee you the opposite.

How to stay careful

1. Set a monthly amount whose loss will not hurt your budget, and do not go over it.
2. Do not stake borrowed money or money meant for bills.
3. Do not chase losses: the next spin does not depend on the last one.
4. Do not send gifts or TON to people who message you first and call themselves support.
5. Do not enter a seed phrase or connect a wallet to unfamiliar sites.

Fakes and lookalike names

This niche is full of projects with similar names: "fiesta", "fest", "drop". Compare the bot and channel names with the ones in the official profile, and do not mix different projects up.

If an app asks for "verification" by entering a code or handing over access to your account, close it. A real giveaway service has no need for that.

Law and addiction

Paid roulettes and draws count as gambling in many countries. Some allow them only with a licence, others ban them. Following local law is the user's responsibility. 🔞

If you spend more than planned, hide spending or borrow money, stop and ask for help. Most countries have free helplines for people with gambling problems.
