About this App

Craving strategy without marathon sessions? Frontline Nations is built on short operations: a couple of minutes per battle, and your country gets slightly stronger in the weekly war. Everything happens in a Telegram chat, through commands. 🪖

The game is small and new, and its code is open on GitHub, where the author describes it as an asynchronous military strategy. Here is how it works.

Pick a country, build three groups

It starts with /start: you register and choose a country. Then you assemble an army of three combat groups. The /army command lets you manage presets and pick equipment within a points limit.

Your commander grows with each operation, and equipment improves through /upgrade. Progress, record, and resources show up in /profile.

Battles on hexes

You choose an operation with /battle: set the task and the group's behavior. Fights play out on a hex map and are deterministic, so the outcome comes from your decisions and lineup rather than luck. 🎯

After a battle you can watch an MP4 replay. It helps you see where a group went wrong and what to change next time.

The weekly war between countries

The game's main idea is the shared front. Forces that survive your battles go to a weekly clash between countries, and the result turns into a shared reward and rankings.

  • /front. The week's matchup, timer, and result.
  • /contribute. Managing groups on the front.
  • /rankings. Alliance and player ratings.
  • /country. Browse and search countries.

Where a newcomer should start

Run your first battles on simple operations and watch the replays closely. That is the quickest way to learn which equipment and group behavior work on your map.

  • Do not spread thin. Strengthen one group first, then the others.
  • Read /guide. The rules are split into short sections.
  • Log in daily. A streak earns a credits bonus.

Daily habits

The /daily command hands out credits and a streak bonus. In /shop you buy equipment with credits. /guide explains the rules by section, and language and nickname change in /language and /nickname. 📅

The interface supports several languages. If your Telegram language is among them, the game picks it up on its own.

Paid credits: think twice

Through /stars you can buy credits with Telegram Stars. The game runs without purchases, so spend only on purpose. Set an entertainment budget in advance and stay inside it. ⭐

For payments and refunds there is /paysupport, which lists refundable purchases and sends a request to support. Read the refund terms before buying.

The game is small and its community is modest, so growth speed and the size of weekly fronts may differ from big projects. The team mode works best when other players from your country are on the front. 🤝

Who it suits

It fits people who like tactics and planning without real-time reflexes: build a lineup, launch an operation, and study the replay. One session takes a few minutes. 🎮
