What the bot does to your posts

Per its description, it can add auto captions at the start or the end of a post and attach URL buttons. The profile says you can add unlimited URL buttons. 🔗

Connecting in five minutes

Open the bot and press /start.
Add the bot to your channel as an administrator: channel settings, administrators, add.
Turn on the permission to post messages, or the bot cannot edit posts.
Set up the caption and buttons using the menu prompts.
Publish a test post and see how it looks.

Handy commands

/help gives you hints, and /stats shows statistics for your account and the bot. /upgrade opens information on a paid plan, and /addbot lets you connect your own bot. 🤖

When auto captions help and when they get in the way

If your channel has few posts and you write each one by hand, an auto caption may be overkill. In channels with a news stream or reposts, though, it saves minutes every day.

Risks worth knowing

Any admin bot can see channel content and publish on its behalf. Give the bot only the permissions it needs and revoke access once you stop using it.

Do not use captions for misleading ads and do not point buttons to suspicious sites: a channel can get restricted for that. 🔒

For a big channel, first try the bot on a test channel. That way you confirm that captions and buttons look as intended.
