About this App
Boxium is a Telegram mini app where players open cases in order to get NFT gifts. The project has an official channel, and the app itself has a small audience for now. Below: how case mechanics work, what to look for in the terms and where the risk lies. 📦
This is for adults only, 18+. It describes a type of service and is not a recommendation to use it.
A case with a random gift inside
In the bot's description everything comes down to one thing: you open a case and may receive an NFT gift. Which one is decided by a random number generator.
There is no skill involved. Earlier openings do not affect later ones, and a run of bad luck does not raise your chance of winning in the future.
The profile does not disclose case sizes, prices, the list of gifts or the odds. Look for that inside the app before you spend anything.
What an NFT gift is and what it is worth
An NFT gift is a digital item with its own number and a set of visual traits. Rarity sets the price: gifts that look the same but have different numbers and backgrounds sell for different amounts.
The market price of a gift moves. What looks valuable at the moment of opening can be worth noticeably less a week later.
- Rarity. Expensive variants drop far less often than common ones.
- Liquidity. A gift does not always sell for the stated price.
- Fees. Withdrawing or selling may cost money.
Paid cases and the economics of the service
Case services earn from the gap between what openings bring in and what the prizes cost. If cases are paid, players on average give more than they get.
It matters to understand what you pay with: Stars, crypto or in-app coins, and if what you receive can be withdrawn.
A small project
Boxium has few active users so far. At an early stage it is harder to see how the project delivers prizes and handles disputes. The official channel gives an idea of the news but does not replace the terms.
- Terms. They should explain the price, the prizes and the odds.
- Delivery. How exactly a gift reaches your account.
- Support. Whether there is a way to get in touch if a gift does not arrive.
- Address. Copies of popular case bots often repeat the name.
Age and the law
Paid cases with a random outcome count as gambling in many countries. Some ban them, others allow them only with a license and for adults. Check the law where you live and make sure you are at least 18.
Avoiding unnecessary losses
- Budget. Only an amount whose loss will not hurt you.
- No chasing. The urge to win back a loss usually makes it bigger.
- No debt. Leave money for food, housing and bills alone.
- No handovers. Do not send gifts or Stars to strangers, even if they mention the project.
If stopping is hard, talk to people close to you or contact a free gambling helpline in your country.
