About this App
Trading memecoins through browser extensions is slow. By the time you open the wallet and sign, the price has already moved. Bitlock Wallet sits right inside Telegram, so the wallet, swaps and fresh token buys all live in one mini app. ⚡
Bitlock pitches itself as a wallet for on-chain trading, for beginners and seasoned token hunters alike. Telegram shows about 30,000 monthly active users.
Who holds the keys
The key word in Bitlock's description is non-custodial. You own the private key, and the team says it has no access to it. Nobody can freeze your coins, and nobody can recover them for you either.
Right after creating the wallet, store the key or seed phrase offline, on paper or in a password manager. A screenshot in your camera roll is a poor hiding spot. 🔑
There is no ID verification and no browser extension to install. The wallet syncs across the devices where you are logged into Telegram.
Supported chains
- Solana: fast, cheap transactions with a base network fee of 5,000 lamports per signature.
- Ethereum: the main network, where gas can get pricey.
- Base: a layer 2 network on top of Ethereum with low fees.
At launch the team also mentioned BNB Smart Chain and Polygon and promised more chains later. Check the current list inside the app before sending funds.
What the fees look like
The wallet itself is free. Each swap carries a 0.75% Bitlock fee, and the network charges its own gas on top.
You can remove the Bitlock fee with a voucher bought for Telegram Stars. There is a single-use voucher for one swap and a time-based one with unlimited swaps. Network gas still applies. 💫
If you trade a lot, run the numbers. At a few hundred dollars of daily volume, 0.75% adds up quickly, and a time-based voucher may pay for itself.
Sniping, and the risks that come with it
Bitlock can buy newly launched tokens the moment they appear, a practice called sniping. The service claims scam protection, yet no filter catches everything. ⚠️
- Most new memecoins lose value within hours or days of launch.
- Traps exist: tokens you can buy but cannot sell, or creators who pull the liquidity.
- Swings are extreme: a 90% drop in one evening is routine for such tokens.
Only put in money you can afford to lose entirely. The wallet gives you a tool, and profit is never guaranteed.
Getting started
- Open the Bitlock mini app in Telegram and create a wallet.
- Back up the key somewhere safe before your first deposit.
- Fund the address on the right network, double-checking the chain you send from.
- Do a small test swap and look at the total fee you paid.
