BestFS File Manager Mini App

Saved Messages, forwarded documents, screenshots, PDF contracts. A month later, finding the right file in Telegram means scrolling through one endless feed. BestFS tries to fix that and calls itself the first full-fledged file manager inside the messenger 📁

It is a mini app with folders, plus a bot that receives your uploads. The idea will feel familiar if you have ever used an explorer on a computer, only here it lives in Telegram and needs no extra program.

Folders instead of a feed

You open the app with a button in the bot chat and see a folder tree. Work documents, personal scans, photos and study materials can each go in their own place, so you stop searching through old conversations.

The structure is yours to design. A good habit from day one is one folder per project or topic, not a folder called Misc that turns back into a dump within a week.

Getting a file in

Uploads go through the bot chat, and there are two ways:

1. Into a specific folder. Open the folder in the app, then send the file to the bot. It lands there.
2. Into the root. Send the file to the bot without picking a folder and it appears at the top level. You can move it later.

There is no separate uploader with a browse-your-computer button. Files arrive through ordinary Telegram sending, so a phone and a desktop behave the same way.

Search from any dialog

This is the handiest part if you forward files a lot. Type the bot name in the message field of any chat, add the name of a file or folder, and Telegram shows suggestions. Pick one and the file goes to the person you are talking to, with no detour through the app.

What the bot commands do

• /start. Starts the chat and refreshes the Ready button if the app will not open.
• /guide. Shows the usage guide, the same one you see at the start.
• /backup. Switches the Simple Backup option on or off.
• /buy. Lets you buy additional storage.
• /ref. Gives you your referral link.
• /tos. Shows the terms of service.

Read the terms before you put anything important inside. They describe what the service takes responsibility for and what stays on your side.

The limits of storage inside a messenger

Any service like this depends on two things: Telegram itself and the team running the project. If the project shuts down or changes its rules, your files need somewhere else to live. So do not keep the only copy of a valuable document here.

The backup option exists for that reason, but it is safer to also keep important files on your own drive or in another storage. A simple rule: two places beat one 💾

Think about what you upload, too. Passports, bank statements and scans full of personal data are better kept out of a small service unless you are sure how it protects them.

Who will find it useful

• People who work in Telegram. Freelancers, managers and chat admins who need the same files close at hand.
• Students. Lecture notes, slides and course handouts sorted by subject.
• Anyone with an overgrown Saved Messages. Cleaning that up takes longer than starting fresh with folders.

The app is young and its audience is still small. For a file manager that is not a big drawback: simplicity matters more than a long feature list, and the team runs a news channel and takes technical and commercial questions through a separate support contact.
