About this App
Someone sends you a link to a big file, and you do not want to pull it onto your phone over mobile data. Or you need to forward a document to friends, but its name is a mess.
AnyDL Bot takes on these jobs: it uploads a file to Telegram straight from the remote server. 📦
Your own bandwidth stays untouched, because the file travels from the bot's server to Telegram's servers. You send a link and get the file in the chat.
Three jobs in one bot
The profile describes three functions, and each covers its own task:
- URL upload. Works with direct file links, links to Instagram publications and files already inside Telegram.
- File renaming. Changes the file name before sending.
- Sticker download. Helps you save a sticker as a file.
The upload limit in the description is 1 GB per day. Keep that in mind if you plan to move heavy archives.
When the file name comes out wrong
The bot takes the name from the link, and sometimes it ends up garbled. Put a vertical bar after the link and type the name you want, extension included. The file is then uploaded under your name.
The pattern: link, space, bar, space, name with extension. A small thing, but it keeps documents tidy in the chat. ✏️
Commands worth knowing
- /start shows that the bot is up.
- /help explains how to use it.
- /settings configures the bot to your needs.
- /savethumbnail stores a cover image: reply with this command to a picture.
- /clearthumbnail removes the saved cover.
- /tag sets a title and performer for audio files.
- /wmvideo adds a watermark to video thumbnails.
- /donate lets you support the service.
Covers and tags for your files
When you upload video or music, presentation in the chat matters. A custom cover makes a file recognizable, and audio tags show the track title and performer in a player.
A watermark on the preview helps creators who do not want frames from their videos to travel without a signature. 🎞️
What to consider before using it
The bot carries a legal notice: uploading and distributing material remains the user's responsibility. Do not upload anything you have no rights to.
- Do not send links with personal data. Addresses with tokens or passwords inside could be seen by the bot's owner.
- Check your files. Executables and archives from unknown sources can be malicious.
- Respect copyright. Other people's content cannot be distributed without permission.
Who benefits
People who often move files between devices and contacts, channel owners who want to shift material from external storage into Telegram quickly, and anyone who cares about tidy documents in a chat.
The bot is small, with a few hundred monthly users, but its set of functions is practical. If a link does not open, make sure it is direct and reachable without signing in to an account.
