About this App
Five minutes before a meeting, a queue at the checkout, a work break: a word game fills the gap better than aimless scrolling. SlowoNet is a casual Telegram game, and its name nods to the Slavic word for word. It is a place for light vocabulary practice.
What we know about SlowoNet
The bot sits in the casual category. Its menu has one command, /menu, which opens the main menu. The project has an official news channel and a separate technical support account.
The bot does not publish detailed rules, so read the on-screen hints on first launch and play the first round without rushing.
Launching and settling in
- Open the bot and send /menu.
- Tap the game button and read the short rules.
- Play a practice round without watching the clock.
- Watch the hints and how points are counted.
- If something is unclear, check the official channel.
If the interface offers to invite friends, do it only if you like. Playing in company feels livelier than a solo round.
Why word games are good for you
Building words from letters and hunting for options trains memory and attention. These games keep vocabulary fresh, especially if you write a lot or study a language.
- Short rounds: easy to fit between tasks.
- Mental exercise: you have to run through options quickly.
- Light competition: points and rankings bring you back.
- Social side: you can compete with friends.
Tips for playing better
Start with short words, then move to longer ones. Short options score fast and warm up your brain.
Learn common prefixes and endings, since they hint how to assemble a word from a set of letters. Do not fear mistakes: that is how new words stick.
And take a break when you notice you are playing on autopilot. A fresh head finds more words than a tired one.
Money, ads and safety
Casual games sometimes carry in-app purchases and ads. If the app asks for payment, read what exactly you are paying for and do not type card details into dubious forms.
Never send a game SMS codes or passwords. Use the contacts in the bot description to reach its makers. Kids can spend money by accident, so limit purchases on the device.
If the game does not load, update Telegram, check your connection and restart the bot. Other questions can go to the project's support.
