Apostle VPN: Pay in Telegram Stars

Need a cheap VPN with no sign-up, no forms and no pile of apps? Apostle VPN is a personal project by the author who calls himself Apostle Dmitry in the profile. Everything is bought and delivered right inside Telegram. 🚀

Three commands and you are connected

The bot is simple, with only a few commands.

• /getvpn gives you VPN access.
• /myvpnkeys shows your keys if you lost them.
• /help leads to help and support.

Support is answered by a person. This is a small project, not a big company with a customer department.

What is under the hood

According to the launch announcement, the service runs on the Shadowsocks protocol and connects through an open-source client app. You install only that official app and nothing unknown.

Shadowsocks was created as a light proxy for getting around blocks. It encrypts traffic and does not look like a classic VPN protocol, so it often works where ordinary VPNs get cut. 🔑

What it costs and how you pay

In the announcement the author listed plans: a free 72-hour test, one month for 100 Telegram Stars, six months for 500 and a year for 1000. Data allowances were stated per term: 200 GB for a month, 1500 GB for six months, 3000 GB for a year.

That announcement is old, so check current terms inside the bot. Payment is in Telegram Stars, which means no card details typed into a third-party site.

Connecting step by step

1. Open the bot and send /getvpn.
2. Start with the free test if it is available, and check speed and the sites you need.
3. Install the client app for your phone or computer.
4. Paste the key you were given and switch the connection on.

Strengths and weak spots

The pluses are clear: a low price, no registration, and a stated policy of not collecting payment data. The minus is that we found no independent reviews or audits, and one small team runs the service.

Until you have seen it run stably, do not buy the long plan right away. Keep the traffic cap in mind too if you watch a lot of video. 📶

When the connection acts up

If sites will not open, first reconnect and check if your data allowance or key term has run out. That is often the cause.

Then try another network: sometimes a mobile carrier cuts connections harder than home Wi-Fi. Update the client app to the latest version. If the problem stays, write to support and describe when it started, which device and which carrier.

Do not buy a VPN from random people in chats, even if the price looks tempting. Check that the bot is the right one and not a copy with a similar name.

A word on privacy

Any VPN moves trust from your internet provider to the VPN owner. For banking and important accounts, avoid adding an extra middleman unless you need one.

An access key is like a password: do not show it to others or post it in chats.
