About this App
In chat someone says "you will do it by Friday", and an hour later nobody remembers who promised what. Tasks sink into the conversation. uPlan creates a task straight from the discussion in a couple of seconds, with no jump to another service. ✅
It is a task manager for Telegram, aimed at small teams, team leads and startups.
Six commands cover everything
Control is built on short commands:
- /new creates a new task.
- /move sets a new deadline.
- /done marks a task complete.
- /team adds a person to the team.
- /ref returns a referral link.
- /help opens help.
That is enough for the whole cycle: set, shift, close.
Just reply to a message
You add the bot to a work chat. Then you can reply to a message about a task, with text or a voice note. AI pulls the title, due date and other details from that message and records the task.
You do not have to invite the bot to a group: you can assign a task to yourself or another person through a special link. No separate chat is needed for a single request. 🔗
Getting a team used to in-chat tasks
A tool helps only when everyone uses it. Start with simple rules:
- One task, one owner. No "let somebody do it".
- Always give a deadline. Even a rough one.
- Close finished work with /done so the list does not balloon.
- Move deadlines openly with /move, not silently.
In a week the habit forms, and the question "what happened to that report" fades.
When a bot is enough and when you need a full tracker
Tasks in a messenger are good for quick requests and small groups. With dozens of people, dependencies between tasks and time reports, you need tools with charts and roles.
For a five-person startup or a freelancer with a couple of clients, a light bot often gives the needed minimum. Begin there and expand when you hit the ceiling. 📌
Voice assignments: handy, with a catch
Dictating a task on the move is quick. Check only the deadline and the assignee's name: recognition errs most on those. If the date comes out wrong, shift it with /move.
Where to get help
The bot's description points to a separate support page for questions. Start with /help, which quickly answers the basics.
