AllrounderBot: All in One Chat

One person wants the news, another the bitcoin price, a third just a quote for the mood. AllrounderBot puts it all in one chat: headlines, a quiz, quotes and crypto prices. 🧰

The bot has about 465 thousand users. Its description mentions version 2.0.1 with an upgraded news feature. Everything below comes from its command list.

Nine commands for different moods

• /news: the day's top headlines.
• /quiz: a quiz to warm up your brain.
• /quote: a random quote.
• /btc: the bitcoin price in US dollars.
• /cryptoprice: international prices and stats for more than 1,200 coins.
• /inex and /koinex: rates and stats from Indian crypto exchanges.
• /help and /donation: help and project support.

News without another app

The /news command shows top headlines right in the chat. No site to open, no feed to scroll, no subscription pop-ups to close.

If something freezes after an update, the bot description suggests sending /restart. 📰

A crypto price in a second

A quick /btc returns the bitcoin price in dollars. For other coins there is /cryptoprice with prices and stats for 1,200 plus tokens.

A couple of commands target Indian exchanges. If you follow that local market they are handy, and everyone else can ignore them.

What to remember about rates

A price in the bot is a reference, not advice to buy or sell. Rates differ between platforms, and young coins can have wide spreads.

Before any trade, check the price on the platform itself. Do not decide from a bot reply alone. ⚠️

Quiz and quotes for a break

Once a day, take a few minutes for /quiz. It switches your head over after work.

The /quote command suits statuses and captions. Read it carefully: the author is not always named, which is worth checking before you post. 💬

Using it through the day

In the morning send /news and skim the headlines in a couple of minutes. At lunch try /quiz, and in the evening check the price of a coin you follow.

A small habit like that takes under ten minutes and replaces a handful of apps. If one feature is not for you, just do not call it. The bot pushes nothing. ☀️

Getting started

1. Open the bot and send /start.
2. Type /help to see the command list.
3. Try /news and /quote.
4. For a price, send /btc or /cryptoprice.
5. If something glitches, send /restart.

The project accepts voluntary support through /donation. You do not have to pay for something that works for free.
