About this App
Your channel is growing, the numbers look good, and then you learn that half the people who came from an ad left within two days. Telegram's built-in statistics show overall growth and reach, but not who leaves or why. Telechurn aims to fill that gap. 📉
Two minutes to connect
Setup takes two steps:
- Start the bot with /start.
- Add it to your channel or chat as an administrator. It needs no special permissions.
The first report arrives the next day. If your subscriber list did not change that day, the bot may stay silent, and that is normal.
What a report contains
The bot collects stats on its own while you focus on content. The data includes:
- Subscriber changes. How many joined and left in a period.
- Subscription lifetime. How long a person stayed before leaving, from a few hours to over a year.
- Invite links. For each link you see joins, drop-offs and churn rate.
- Audience segments. Subscribers grouped by behavior.
Reports land in Telegram every day, and you can also read them in a web dashboard and in the mini app. 📊
Why the invite links matter
This is the most useful part if you buy ads. Create a separate invite link for every placement, then compare which source brings people who stay.
A cheap subscriber who leaves after a day often costs more than an expensive but loyal one. A join count alone will not tell you that.
Reading churn without panic
Every channel loses a few people, and that is normal background noise. The warning signs look different:
- a sharp spike in unsubscribes after one specific post;
- many people leaving right after joining;
- one traffic source with outstanding churn.
Line up the report dates with your publishing schedule. It becomes easier to see what annoys the audience: posting frequency, ads inside the feed or a change of topic. 🔍
Before you connect it
The bot works only where you are an admin and sees the channel data that Telegram gives it. It does not replace work on content and will not bring back people who left.
Analytics are processed on the developer's side, so connect only channels whose data you are comfortable sharing with an outside service. Do not widen the admin rights without a reason.
Who gets the most out of it
Channel owners who buy ads, media admins and marketers who run several channels. If your channel is thirty friends, the standard statistics are enough.
For everyone else, a daily report split by source and subscription lifetime can save budget. 💡
A simple routine
Once a week, open the report and write down the top and bottom invite links by churn. Next week, put more budget into the sources that keep people and drop the ones that do not. After a month you will have your own benchmark for what normal churn looks like in your niche.
