About this App
Picture a voice note where your friend solemnly admits defeat in the pineapple pizza debate. Except he never said it. MimicMe makes parodies like that inside Telegram: it clones a voice and has it speak whatever line you want. 🎙️
The word parody in its name is there for a reason. This bot is built for pranks and humor, and that framing matters from minute one.
Two steps from sample to speech
- Voice sample. You send a recording so the bot can learn how the person sounds: timbre, pitch and delivery.
- New line. The bot then synthesizes a fresh phrase in that voice and sends the audio back to your chat.
Behind it is neural speech synthesis. The model pulls distinctive features out of a short clip and applies them to new words. Cleaner input means a more convincing copy.
Why there is a queue
Voice synthesis is heavy on computing power, so requests wait their turn. The /status command tells you where you stand. ⏳
If the bot gets stuck on an old sample, /reset clears the conversation and lets you start fresh. /help lists the commands, and /donate lets you support the developer.
Funny, not creepy
- Record somewhere quiet. Traffic, music and echo leak into the model and blur the voice.
- Talk normally. A relaxed tone clones better than shouting or whispering.
- Keep it short. One or two lines sound more believable than a long speech.
- Try a second sample. If the result sounds robotic, record a new clip and compare.
The line you should not cross
Voice cloning is powerful, and scammers use it for real. There are well documented cases of a fake relative sending a voice message or calling with an urgent request for money. ⚠️
- Get consent. Clone your own voice or a friend who is in on the joke.
- Reveal the prank. A good joke ends quickly with everyone laughing.
- Leave public figures alone. Fake statements by real people can lead to legal claims and, in some countries, criminal charges.
- Never use it to get past voice checks. Voice verification at banks and services is not a toy.
Protect yourself from the same trick
Since a voice can be copied in minutes, be skeptical of unexpected voice notes asking for money. Call the person back on a number you already know, or ask something only the two of you would know. 🔐
Agree on a family code word for genuine emergencies. It takes a minute to set up and blocks the most common fake voice scam.
