Textoji: Emoji Lettering Bot

Bot • Stickers, Emoji & GIF

About this App

A plain "Hello" never surprises anyone. A word built out of emoji grabs the eye: you want to open it and pass it on. Textoji turns your text into that kind of emoji lettering right in a Telegram chat. 😍

The bot is small and simple, with two modes. Which to pick depends on your phone.

Two modes for different devices

  • /emoji builds emoji text in full. The command's label mentions iOS and web.
  • /simple makes a simplified Textoji. The label mentions Android.

The split is not random. Emoji look and render differently across platforms, so the same result does not appear identical everywhere. 📱

Making your first lettering

  1. Open the bot and press Start.
  2. Pick the command for your device: /emoji or /simple.
  3. Send a word or a short phrase.
  4. Take the result and forward it to a friend or paste it into a caption.

Why short text works better

Lettering made of emoji takes a lot of room. A five-letter word becomes a dense block of smileys, and a long sentence becomes a wall of icons that is hard to read.

Use a name, a two-word greeting, a short slogan. Such lettering reads at a glance. ✨

Where it comes in handy

  • Greetings. A birthday person's name made of hearts or stars.
  • Channel design. A post heading that stands out in the feed.
  • Status and captions. A small accent on a profile or story.
  • Jokes in chats. A reaction people remember.

Before you hit send

Emoji render differently across apps and Telegram versions. Check the result on your own device, and if you send it to friends on another system, go with the simplified mode.

Do not overdo it. In formal or business chats an emoji banner can look unserious. 💼

If the lettering is long, Telegram may split it into several messages or cut it off. Shorten the text in that case.

Small things worth knowing

The bot builds the lettering from symbols, so you can copy and paste it anywhere emoji are supported: a channel description, a comment, another messenger.

Screen readers for visually impaired people read every emoji out one by one. For them a big block of smileys turns into a meaningless list of names, so if accessibility matters to you, add plain text next to it. 🔊

The project has an author and a news channel named in the bot's profile. Look there for fresh details about how the bot works.
