Sometimes it is easier to write to someone than to say it to their face. TEXT ME makes that possible: you get your own link, anyone can send a question or an opinion through it, and the author's name stays hidden. 💬

The bot works in a regular Telegram chat. Press the start button or send /start, and it gives you everything you need.

The link as a mailbox

Picture a mailbox on your door where anyone can drop an unsigned note. The link in the bot works the same way: you hang it in your profile, a story or a chat, and the messages gather with you.

Where the link ends up is your responsibility. A closed group of friends will bring one kind of message, an open public page with thousands of readers will bring something very different.

What people usually write

Questions about life: where you study, what you do, what you listen to.
Confessions and compliments: things that are awkward to say out loud.
Feedback: what people liked in a channel, video or project and what to change.
Rudeness and provocations. Without a signature that arrives too, so be ready.

Three commands in the menu

/start launches the bot. /unsub unsubscribes you if you no longer want mailings. /paysupport helps with payments when you bought a paid feature and something went wrong.

Support is listed in the bot profile. If something behaves strangely, write there rather than in random chats.

Good manners for both sides

Anonymity does not cancel politeness. If you are the sender, imagine the recipient reading it on a bad day. If you are the recipient, remember that a living person sits behind the message, nameless but real.

Do not insult. Threats remain threats even without a signature.
Do not answer harassment. A reaction only feeds the author.
Do not republish messages that contain third parties' personal data.
Never send money at an anonymous request. It is almost always a scam.

How to answer anonymous messages

You do not have to answer everything. Pick the questions where you have something to say, and keep replies short. It looks livelier than long lectures.

If you post answers in stories, strip out anything that could harm the author or third parties. Neutral topics, humour and questions about your hobbies work best.

Limit the frequency: one batch a week is enough to keep the link from tiring your followers. 📝

What the bot knows about you

The sender is anonymous to the recipient, but the bot as a service sees your Telegram data. Do not put passwords, card numbers or sensitive details into anonymous chats. Open Telegram's privacy settings: you can hide your phone number and last-seen time there.

To stop messages completely, take the link out of public places and use /unsub. 🔒
