WelfyCase: Anonymous Chat in Telegram

Sometimes you want to talk to someone without showing your name, photo or username. Telegram has a whole category of anonymous chats for that, and WelfyCase belongs to it. It is a mini app that opens inside the messenger, with nothing extra to install.

The catalog lists roughly 177 thousand users. For a niche topic that is a noticeable audience, which usually means there are people to talk to. 💬

Why people choose a chat without a name

Anonymity removes awkwardness. You can bring up something you would not tell friends, ask a stranger for advice, or just chat in the evening with no strings attached.

In a normal dialogue the other person sees your profile: picture, name, sometimes more depending on your privacy settings. An anonymous chat strips that layer off, so the conversation rests on words alone.

What a Telegram mini app actually is

A mini app is a web interface that opens right inside the messenger window. You tap a button and see the service's own screen instead of a plain bot conversation.

The upside is that nothing comes from an app store. You sign in through your Telegram account, so a separate registration is usually not needed.

Getting started in four steps

1. Open the app. Tap the launch button on the WelfyCase page.
2. Grant only what is needed. If it asks for access, read the request instead of tapping through.
3. Set the tone. Say hello and mention what you would like to talk about.
4. Decide your limits first. Keep your surname, address, workplace and school to yourself.

If the other person pushes, insults you or asks for personal details, close the dialogue. You owe a stranger nothing.

Where anonymity stops

The word anonymous does not mean invisible. Hidden from the other user is not the same as hidden from the people running the service: every mini app lives on someone's server and can technically receive the data Telegram passes on at sign-in.

A sensible rule follows from that. Do not type anything you would be unhappy to see in other hands, such as photos, documents, passwords or card details. 🔒

A short checklist before your first chat

• Rules and reports. A decent chat lets you report a troublemaker and leave in one step.
• Age limits. Anonymous chats are meant for adults, and teenagers are better off staying away.
• Paid extras. If something asks for payment, find out exactly what you get first. Do not send money against promises.
• Links from strangers. Skip them. That is how phishing and ads spread.

Tricks to watch for

Anonymity attracts people who want a chat, but also scammers. They tend to move you to private messages fast, or pitch quick earnings, dating and paid channels.

If a link, a money request or an install request shows up after a couple of lines, close the dialogue. A real person does not need your data in the first minutes. ⚠️

A pleasant chat, and launch hiccups

Short open questions beat a plain hello. Ask about a film, a city, a hobby or weekend plans, and the talk tends to roll on its own.

Respect other people's limits the way you want yours respected. If someone does not want to continue, let it go. Anonymous chat runs on mutual politeness. 🙂

Update Telegram to the latest version and restart it. Switching off a VPN for a minute or changing the network often helps, since mini apps dislike an unstable connection.

If the error keeps coming back, try later. The service may be down for maintenance.
