About this App
How well do your friends really know you? Your favorite color, the funniest memory, what you order at a cafe. The Friendship Diploma bot turns questions like these into a quiz: you create it, share the link, and friends answer and get a score for how well they know you.
It is a light five-minute game that is easy to drop into a group chat to see who turns out to be the best friend.
Two roles: the author and the player
In the bot you can be the person who makes the quiz or the one who takes it. The greeting says it directly: press Start to create a test or take someone else's.
- Author. Writes questions about themselves and marks the right answers.
- Player. Opens a friend's link and answers their questions.
- Result. Based on the score, the player earns a Friendship Diploma 🔖.
Three commands are enough
The bot's menu is short, and it is hard to get lost in it:
- /start. Launches the bot and shows the main menu.
- /mylink. Gives your personal quiz link to send to friends.
- /results. Shows who took your quiz and how they did. 📊
The whole mechanic rests on the link: post it in a chat, a story or a private message, and friends land straight in the right quiz.
How to write questions that people want to answer
A quiz works when people want to answer it. Everyone knows the boring stuff like favorite color or food. Look for things only a close friend would know.
- Vivid details. A moment from a trip, an odd habit, a favorite joke.
- Good wrong answers. They should look believable, or guessing becomes too easy.
- Mixed difficulty. A couple of easy ones first, a couple of tricky ones last.
- Reasonable length. With too many questions, not everyone will finish.
What to do with the results
The results list answers who pays attention to you and who simply guessed. Do not take the numbers too seriously though: it is a game, not a test of friendship.
You can run a small contest in the chat and hand the most attentive friend a virtual prize. 🎉
Before you send the link 🔒
The quiz will be shown to anyone you send the link to. Keep phone numbers, addresses, document details and anything you would not want in other hands out of the questions and answers.
- Only people you know. Share the link with friends.
- Nothing personal. Avoid details that reveal where you live or your daily routine.
- Be careful with others' links. If a quiz asks you to confirm a login, type a code or pay, that is not part of the game.
Why quizzes like this spread
Everyone who finishes a quiz wants to make their own and see how their friends answer. That is how the game travels from chat to chat.
It also gives you a reason to write to people: even old acquaintances message each other to show a result or argue about an answer. 😄
