About this App
Awards are usually decided by juries and closed committees, and the audience just waits for the results. The Trends Awards did it differently: part of the vote went to the public, and anyone could cast it right in Telegram. 🏆
The bot and mini app accompany the 2025 award. It is dedicated to people who push the technology industry forward.
What the award is
The Trends Awards runs as part of The Trends forum. In 2025 it announced 30 categories: 15 for companies and 15 for personal achievements.
The categories covered many areas of technology. They included IT, AI, fintech, blockchain, mining, education technology, startups, creative industries, media and PR, and e-commerce.
How the best were chosen
The organizing committee checked submitted applications and built long lists: up to 10 nominees per category. They appeared on the award website in mid-May 2025.
Then two groups gave scores.
- The jury: filled in questionnaires and rated nominees from 1 to 5, and an average score was derived.
- The public: voted in the bot and could give each nominee from 3 to 5 points.
The public vote
The award website separates out a public vote. Categories there included fintech company, AI solutions for business and for consumers, blockchain company, and best IT company. 🗳️
In some categories both the jury and the public voted, so the result combined both scores.
How voting in the bot went
The routine was simple and took a few minutes.
- Open the bot and launch the mini app.
- Pick a category from the list.
- Look through the nominees and their descriptions.
- Give a score and confirm your vote.
What happened with the results
The award ceremony took place in Moscow on 19 November 2025 as part of Technology Week. By decision of the expert jury, 21 best technology projects and industry leaders were named. 🎖️
If you want to follow future editions, rely on the organizers' official announcements, since dates for applications and voting can change.
Why vote at all
A public vote shows what the audience thinks, not only the experts. For companies it is a way to earn recognition, and for readers a chance to influence the outcome.
Vote thoughtfully: study the nominees and rate those whose products you used or whose solutions you know. Vote stuffing is unfair to participants. The bot does not ask for payment for a vote, and anyone who offers to charge you should raise suspicion. 🛡️
Who the bot is for
Employees and customers of nominees who want to back their company. People who follow the technology industry and want to see an open award from the inside.
