About this App
You write for a Telegram channel, and somewhere else there is an audience that has never seen it. Copying every post by hand into another platform is the kind of chore that gets dropped after a week. Zen Sync Bot automates it: posts from your channel appear in Dzen on their own. 🔄
The bot comes from the Dzen team and launched in November 2021. It has a single job: link a Telegram channel to a channel on Dzen.
What happens to your posts
You connect the channel once. After that, new posts go to the Dzen feed, where readers who have never heard of your Telegram channel can find them.
Later updates added edits that show up on both platforms and selective publishing. You decide which posts go to Dzen and which stay in Telegram only.
Five steps to connect
The official Dzen help describes this order:
- Open your Telegram channel and go to channel management.
- Open the administrators section and add a new one.
- Pick Zen Sync Bot from the list and save it as an administrator.
- Send the bot a link to your channel and complete authorization.
- Type /sync to link the two channels.
The bot needs admin rights so it can read new posts. Check which permissions are ticked and keep them to what it actually needs.
Which channels get the most out of it
Crosspost works best with text. Notes, breakdowns, short articles, personal stories and curated lists all fit. Dzen is a reading platform, so these posts do not look out of place.
Memes, voice messages and video-only posts are the weak spot. Dzen has its own format rules, and the bot carries over only what fits them. A post with a video or a GIF may not go through.
- Good fit: original writing, reviews, notes with pictures.
- Partial fit: news and announcements, if they carry real content and are more than a bare link.
- Poor fit: posts made only of video, GIFs, stickers or reposts.
Check these before you start
Your Dzen channel has to meet the platform rules. If it does not, there is nothing for the bot to sync into.
The two platforms work differently. In Telegram, people subscribe for your voice. In Dzen, an algorithm decides what gets recommended. The same post can do well in one place and pass unnoticed in the other. That is normal.
Dzen can also add UTM tags, so you can see where readers come from. Turn them on if you want to know whether crossposting brings anything real. 📈
Keeping the automation honest
Automatic posting saves time but does not replace attention. Once a week, open Dzen and look at how your posts render: is the layout intact, are the pictures there, did the links survive.
If your Telegram style is very short or chat-like, a post can look like a fragment in Dzen. In that case, send only your most finished material.
One last point: the bot promises nothing about reach. It gives you one more distribution channel, and your statistics tell you whether it works. ✅
