You run a channel and want a post to go out at nine in the morning while you sleep, with a button under the text and without the typo you noticed too late. Channel Help does that inside Telegram: it publishes posts to channels, schedules them, edits them and adds buttons. 📣
The bot has been around a long time: Telegram shows more than a million monthly users. Its interface comes in English, Italian and French, and you choose the language at launch.
What Channel Help does
The feature set is small but covers the most common jobs of a channel owner. Everything happens in a chat with the bot, with no separate services or websites.
- Publishing. You prepare a post in the bot and send it to your channel.
- Scheduling. A post can be set for a future time so you do not have to watch your phone.
- Buttons. Inline buttons appear under the post: a link, a jump, a call to action.
- Editing. A published post can be corrected, including after 48 hours.
- Formatting. Markdown and HTML are supported for bold, italics and links.
- Post settings. You can turn link previews and notifications on or off.
Why editing after 48 hours matters
Sometimes an old post needs fixing. A typo in a price, an outdated link, a wrong date: all of it is irritating when the message sits there for a week.
The bot's description says editing works beyond two days. That helps channels whose posts live long, such as promotions, schedules and guides. ✏️
A first launch in a few minutes
- Open the bot and press /start. Pick a language from the options.
- Give the bot access to your channel. To publish it needs administrator rights with permission to post. Grant the minimum.
- Create a post. Add the text, buttons if needed and preview settings.
- Send now or set a time. Check your time zone so the post goes out when you expect.
Three habits that save nerves
Scheduling works best when a channel has a rhythm. Prepare several posts in one evening and spread them over the week, so you are not publishing in a rush.
Keep button labels short and clear: two or three words instead of a long sentence. Before launch, check the link behind every button. 🔗
Finally, look at how the post appears on a phone. Long paragraphs and heavy formatting read worse on a small screen than in the editor window.
A word on access and safety
Any bot with administrator rights in a channel gets serious access. Grant only the rights to post and edit messages, not to manage admins, unless you need it.
Review the channel's admin list from time to time and remove accounts you no longer use. If something goes wrong with a channel, the first thing to check is who has rights. 🔒
The bot's description does not mention prices or paid plans, so look at the terms in the chat with the bot itself.
