Elsa Global Banhammer for Telegram

You run a chat, and someone just walked in asking for or sharing child sexual abuse material. You can delete the message and ban them in your group, but tomorrow they show up in the next one. Elsa - Global Banhammer exists so that such accounts get banned across many groups at once. 🛡️

This is a moderation bot, not entertainment. Its job is narrow and serious: collect reports and block offenders through a shared system.

How a global ban works

The idea is simple. One user reports an offender, reviewers look at the report, and if it checks out, the account is blocked globally rather than only in your chat.

According to the project description, it is meant for users who should be restricted from all channels and groups. It is not for ordinary arguments or local disputes, where a normal ban is enough.

Filing a report in thirty seconds

1. Open the chat where you saw the offender.
2. Reply to their message with /report or /new.
3. Add context with /comment and the report number if needed.
4. Track the status with /show and the report number.

A report without a reply to the exact message will not work, because the bot needs to see what the person wrote. The /view command lists your latest reports.

The moderator side

The bot's menu has many service commands. Some are meant only for reviewers.

• /accept. Accept a report and pass it on to the project's admins.
• /reject. Reject it when no violation exists.
• /about. Look up data about an account.
• /stats. See statistics for the system.
• /id. Get a group's identifier.
• /ticket. Contact support through a ticket system.

Why your track record matters

The system tracks how accurate you are. Confirmed reports raise your trust and get checked faster. If you send many wrong reports, the bot may start ignoring them.

So do not use it for revenge or personal feuds. Send only what you are sure about.

What it does not replace

A global ban inside Telegram is not a substitute for contacting law enforcement. If you run into child sexual content, do not forward it to friends or keep a copy. Use Telegram's own report button and your country's national hotline. ⚠️

The bot works at community level. People review its decisions, but it has no official status with Telegram.

Who needs it

Admins of large chats, channel moderators, and anyone who does not want these accounts to walk away unpunished. If you manage a community, add the bot to your group and make sure you have the right to restrict members.
