Song search bot: find and share

Getting started

Send /start. The bot shows its menu, and after that everything happens in ordinary messages. A song title, an artist name or both together will do for a search. A found track can be forwarded to a chat right away.

Playlists instead of endless searching

If you replay the same songs, searching every time gets tiring. Playlists fix that: build one once, then open it with a command.

1. Find a song with a normal query.
2. Add it to a playlist if the bot offers a button for that.
3. Open /playlists when you want it and play the set.

Music and the law

Music is protected by copyright. Downloading and sharing tracks is regulated by the laws of your country. If you want artists to earn from their songs, use official streaming services and treat the bot as a convenient finder.

Be careful with files from strangers in chats too: harmful files can pose as music. Download only what you asked for yourself.

When search does not help

Check typos and keyboard layout. Drop extra words like "download" and keep the artist and the title. For rare versions try another query. Sometimes the track is simply not in the database. 🔎

Sharing with friends

The bot's description says it plainly: search songs by title and share them with friends. This is the simplest scenario. Find a track, forward it to a private or group chat, and the other person has nothing to look up.

It works well for shared trips, parties and birthdays. One person builds the set and everyone else listens right in the conversation. 🎉

If you are organizing an evening, find twenty songs ahead of time and save them in a playlist. When the moment comes you will not waste time searching, and the music starts at once.
