About this App

Some evenings you just want to talk to someone unfamiliar, with no profiles, no photos and no commitments. The Chat for Two bot pairs two random people in a private dialogue: you do not know who is on the other end, and they do not know you. 😉

Here is how it works and how to avoid regretting a conversation.

Finding someone to talk to

It all starts with /connect or the search button. The bot puts you in a queue and connects you as soon as a second person is found.

If you tire of waiting, leave the queue with /close. The /online command shows how many people are searching or already chatting.

Commands you will use mid-chat

/disconnect. End the dialogue and drop the partner.
/block. Temporarily block a partner: you will not be matched with them for the next 24 hours.
/allow. Permit an ID exchange so you can continue in private messages.
/information and /commands. Help and the command list.
/account. Information about your account in the bot.

/exit cancels the current action, and /game returns you to the last game.

Anonymous until you decide otherwise

Until you press /allow, your partner sees only the text of your messages. IDs are exchanged by mutual consent, and only after that can you message each other directly.

Think twice before agreeing. Your ID opens access to your profile, which may show your name, photo and phone number if you have not hidden them in settings.

Rules that protect you

Do not give your real name, address, workplace or school.
Do not send photos you would not want to see made public.
Do not follow links or install files from a partner.
Do not transfer money, whatever story you are told.
If a chat turns unpleasant, press /block right away.

The extra sections

The command list includes /referral, /payments and /accrual, which relate to a referral link, balance credits and payouts. Check the terms inside the bot and do not put money in for promised percentages.

If you are asked to pay for access or to "unblock" partners, stop and read the terms carefully.

Who it is for

The bot fits killing time, practicing a language or simply venting. You know nothing about the age or aims of other users, so keep a healthy distrust.

If a conversation turns worrying or unpleasant, end it. You owe nothing to a person you are meeting for the first time.

How do I start chatting?▼

Open the bot, press the search button or send /connect. The bot queues you up and connects you with a random person. If you do not want to wait, leave with /close.

Can my partner see my profile?▼

No, not until you press /allow and exchange IDs by consent. After the exchange, though, the person gets access to your profile, which may show a name, photo and number. Check your Telegram privacy settings beforehand.

What if the partner is rude or threatening?▼

End the dialogue at once with /disconnect and block the person with /block, so they will not be matched with you for 24 hours. Do not answer threats or send money or data. Record serious cases and contact Telegram support.

Can I earn money with the bot?▼

It has a referral link and sections for credits and payouts. Do not count on income, and never pay for access or promised percentages. Read the terms carefully inside the bot.
