About this App
Your doctor asks how often your head hurts and what you take for it, and you honestly cannot remember if it was last Tuesday or Wednesday. Migrebot fixes that gap. It keeps a headache diary for you, and all you do is answer a few questions each day. 🧠
The bot was made by the University Headache Clinic. It does not treat anything and does not replace a doctor's visit. It simply gathers records a neurologist can actually read.
Why a pain diary matters
An accurate diagnosis for migraine and other headaches leans on details: how long an attack lasted, how strong it was, what came before it and whether a medicine helped. Memory fails, and paper notes get lost.
A diary turns vague complaints into dates and numbers. Patterns that are invisible day to day start to show. 📅
A day with the bot
- Pick a time. The bot writes to you at the hour you choose.
- Say if you had a headache. If not, you are done.
- If you did, add details: when it began and ended, how strong it was, what came with it.
- Note possible triggers and any medicine you took.
You can also add an entry yourself with /headache without waiting for the question. That helps when an attack hits at an odd hour.
Warnings worth hearing
The bot watches for two warning signs: taking painkillers too often, and attacks becoming more frequent. When it notices either one, it tells you.
Frequent painkiller use can itself keep headaches going, and doctors know this well. Treat the warning as a reason to discuss your treatment plan with a specialist rather than to change it alone. ⚠️
Statistics, calendar and a file for the doctor
The /statistics command opens a summary, an attack calendar and diary files. You can download them at any moment and show them at an appointment instead of retelling the story from memory.
- The calendar shows which days you had pain.
- Statistics reveal frequency and trends.
- Diary files are easy to send to a doctor ahead of time.
An extended mode called Migrebot+ also exists, opened with /migrebotplus. Check its terms inside the bot.
Getting the most from your records
Fill in entries the same day while details are fresh. Stay consistent, because gaps distort the picture. If you took medicine, write its name and the time.
Mark possible triggers honestly, even small ones: short sleep, a skipped lunch, stress, a weather change. After a few weeks you can see what repeats. 🔍
What the bot does not do
It does not diagnose and does not prescribe. A sudden severe pain, slurred speech, weakness in an arm or leg, or fever with a stiff neck needs urgent medical care, not a diary entry.
