What to do

The instructions fit on one line: tap /start and send a link. The only command in the menu, /start, restarts the bot if needed.

Take the link from the "Share" button in the platform's app. For public clips that is enough.

Which platforms are supported

• Video hosts. A large international one and a Russian one.
• Social networks. A Russian one and international ones where videos are shared in the feed.
• Short clips. Two short-video platforms.
• Pictures and ideas. A boards service that sometimes carries video.
• Microblog. A short-post social network.

The list comes from the bot's own description. It may change, so if a platform stops working it is not necessarily your mistake.

What the bot cannot do

The bot sees only what is open to everyone. Private accounts, hidden posts and paid content are out of reach. We say nothing on quality, length or file formats because there is no confirmed data.

The size of a file that lands in the chat is limited by Telegram itself. If a clip is long, expect a refusal or reduced quality.

Three points to note

1. Copyright. Saving for private viewing is fine, but reposting someone else's work without consent is not.
2. Ads. The profile lists an advertising contact, so ads may appear. Avoid dubious banners.
3. Data. The bot asks only for a link. Any request for a password or code is a sign of a scam.

Videos vanish from feeds: authors delete posts or access settings change. A saved file stays in your chat. Do not hoard, though, since files take up phone storage.

If a clip will not download

Check that the post is public and the link was copied in full. Try again after a few minutes, since platforms change their protection from time to time.

If it still fails, contact support, whose contact is in the bot's profile. Describe the problem and attach the link to get a quicker reply.
