Standard Telegram looks tidy, but it looks the same for everyone. SpongeBob Bot collects in one place what people usually use to dress up the messenger: fonts, themes, tabs and emoji. 🎨

What the bot offers

The bot name lists four sections:

Fonts for unusual text styling.
Themes for interface colors.
Tabs for decorating the interface.
Emoji and stickers for chatting.

Pick a section, browse the options and take what you like.

How Telegram fonts really work

Telegram cannot install third-party fonts. What such bots call fonts is actually a set of special Unicode characters that look like fancy letters.

That is why the styled text can be pasted into a name, a profile bio or a message. The downside: some devices show empty boxes instead of those symbols, and searching for a styled name works worse. ✍️

Chat themes

A Telegram theme changes interface colors and the chat background. You can apply it on a phone or a computer and go back to the default at any time.

Open a theme from the bot.
Look at the preview.
Tap Apply.
If you dislike it, restore the default look in settings.

Dark, bright themes look striking, but they can be harder to read in direct sunlight. ☀️

Ads and feedback

The bot has two service commands. /feedback reaches the administrator if you found a bug or have an idea. /refuse lets you opt out of the ads the bot shows users.

That is common for free bots: ads pay for their upkeep. But third-party offers are not guaranteed safe, so do not enter card details on links from strangers. 📢

What to keep in mind

Never type an SMS code or a password into the bot. Themes and fonts do not need them.
Do not install files that ask you to open them outside Telegram.
Do not stuff your profile name with fancy symbols: friends will struggle to find you.

Prettiness is fine as long as it does not get in the way of talking. 💬

Emoji and stickers in conversation

Emoji bring a message to life, but moderation helps. A couple of well-placed icons make a note friendlier, while a dozen in a row turn it into mush.

Stickers work as a quick reaction: you send a picture instead of a long reply. Added sets live in the sticker panel and are easy to remove when you tire of them.
