Check Account Restrictions for Telegram

Mini App • Gestión de canales

Sobre la aplicación

La descripción aún no está disponible en tu idioma, por eso se muestra en inglés.

A channel vanishes from search. A bot will not open for friends in another country. A group shows a blank screen instead of messages. In many cases there is a Telegram restriction behind it, and its reason is hard to see from inside the app.

Check Account Restrictions puts that information in one place. You give it the address of a bot, group or channel, and it shows what is known about it: whether a restriction exists and where it applies.

What the mini app looks at

It works with three kinds of objects: bots, groups and channels. That is what the bot's own description says, and it does not claim anything beyond that. Do not expect it to review your personal account.

  • Bots. Handy when a bot stays silent or cannot be found by some users.
  • Channels. Helps explain why a channel opens on one phone and not on another.
  • Groups. You can check your own chat before members start complaining.

Why restrictions appear

Telegram can hide content for several reasons: reports about rule violations, app store requirements, and legal demands in specific countries. A restriction rarely applies everywhere. It is often tied to a platform, for example only the iOS or only the Android client.

That is why the same channel can open for one person and say it is unavailable for another. It is not a glitch but a regional or platform setting.

Three steps to an answer

  1. Open the mini app from Telegram.
  2. Enter the name of the bot, group or channel. Public addresses work, and private channels need an invite link.
  3. Read the result and compare it with what your users report seeing.

If nothing shows up and the problem remains, look elsewhere: privacy settings, a ban of a single user, or an outdated client.

Why channel owners care

If you run a channel or promote a bot, run a check before launching ads. Paying for traffic to an address that fails in some countries or on some devices wastes budget.

It makes sense to check after every complaint about access and before buying posts in other channels. You hear about the problem before it costs you subscribers.

What to do when a restriction is found

Start with the reason shown in the result. If it relates to a rule violation, fix the content and ask Telegram support about lifting it. If it is regional, the options are limited: change the content or use another platform for audiences in that country.

Do not pay middlemen who promise to remove a ban for money. Telegram makes that decision, and such offers are usually scams. 🙂

Before you rely on it

This is a small app with a narrow job. It does not replace the official check for your personal account: Telegram has its own service bot for limits on a user profile. Treat the result as a hint and compare it with what people actually see on their devices.

Enter only public addresses and links you are happy to share. The app never needs passwords, SMS codes or wallet data.

Preguntas frecuentes

What can Check Account Restrictions check?▼
It shows restrictions placed on bots, groups and channels. It does not review the limits on a personal account. For a private channel you will need an invite link.
Why does a channel open for some users and not others?▼
A restriction is often tied to a region or a platform, for example only the iOS client. One person sees the channel while another gets an unavailable message. A check helps confirm that this is the cause rather than your own settings.
Can the app remove a restriction?▼
No, it only shows information. Telegram makes the decision, so contact its support. Do not trust paid middlemen who promise to remove a block.
Is it safe to enter addresses into the app?▼
A public name of a bot, group or channel, or an invite link, is enough. Never enter passwords, SMS codes or wallet data. If the app asks for anything like that, close it.
