Folify: Portfolio Rebalancing Tool

Mini App • Analytics & Signals

About this App

You built a portfolio with a plan: half stocks, a third bonds, the rest in crypto and gold. Six months of a strong market later, the stocks have swollen and your risk is no longer what you chose. Folify exists to catch that before it gets expensive. 📊

It runs as a Telegram mini app and is tied to an investor service that does one thing: rebalancing. It does not recommend assets and it does not trade for you.

The drift problem in plain terms

Assets grow at different speeds, so the weights in a portfolio slowly slide away from the targets you set. Risk creeps up without any decision on your part.

Rebalancing pulls the weights back: sell some of what grew, buy some of what lagged. If you keep adding money, you can often fix the balance by directing new contributions to the underweight pieces and skipping sales entirely.

Two limits before an alert fires

For any asset or group of assets you set two numbers. One is how far the weight may wander from target. The other is how many days it may stay outside that range.

An alert goes out only when both limits are broken. Under a 4% and 45 day rule, a segment sitting 5.8% off target for 52 days triggers a message, while a one-day market spike does not. ⏰

Each alert comes with suggested buy and sell quantities for specific assets in specific accounts.

Build the portfolio around your own logic

You can pull holdings from several accounts (brokerage, cash, crypto) into nested segments. The grouping is yours: by goal, region, risk level, anything that matches your strategy.

  • Stocks and ETFs. Both are supported.
  • Currencies and crypto. They can sit inside the same plan.
  • Exchanges. The service lists holdings from more than 70 exchanges worldwide.
  • Prices. Quotes are delayed by about 15 minutes or end of day. That works for allocation, not for day trading.

What you get in the chat

The bot has two commands: /start opens the main menu and /portfolio shows your portfolio. You sign in with your Telegram account, so there is no extra password to invent.

Setup and calculations feel best in the mini app, and drift alerts land straight in your chat. 💬

Yearly pricing, free first month

The first month is free. After that you pay once a year, plus tax. There are three plans.

  • Basic. $40 a year, one portfolio, up to 50 assets, manual updates and no drift alerts.
  • Pro. $60 a year, three portfolios, up to 150 assets, automatic updates around the clock and alerts by email and Telegram.
  • Ultra. $100 a year, five portfolios, up to 300 assets and ten levels of segments.

If Telegram alerts are the reason you are here, start from Pro. Basic does not include them.

What it will not do

Folify does not make investment decisions and does not place orders. Every purchase and sale happens at your own broker. The service states that its output is informational and computational, not financial, tax or legal advice.

On the roadmap: read-only broker connections that import positions and transactions without any right to trade, and tax-loss harvesting calculations. Those are future items, so judge the tool by what works today. 🔎

A sensible first session

  1. Write down the weights you actually want, before opening the app.
  2. Split your assets into groups and set a tolerance. A very narrow band means trading over noise and paying fees for it.
  3. Choose how many days a drift must last before you care.
  4. When an alert arrives, check it against your taxes and your broker's costs, then place the orders yourself.

Frequent trades eat returns through commissions and taxes. A band with a time condition usually beats rebalancing on a fixed calendar date for exactly that reason. 🧮

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Folify cost?▼
The first month is free, then you pay once a year plus tax. Basic is $40 a year, Pro is $60 and Ultra is $100. Drift alerts by email and Telegram come with Pro and Ultra.
Does Folify buy and sell assets for me?▼
No. It calculates drift and shows how much of which asset to buy or sell in each account. You place the trades yourself at your own broker or exchange.
Which assets can I add to a portfolio?▼
Stocks, ETFs, currencies and crypto, with holdings from more than 70 exchanges. Prices are delayed by about 15 minutes or end of day, so it is not a tool for scalping.
How often should I rebalance?▼
There is no single answer. Many investors use a tolerance band plus a time condition, for example 4 percent and 45 days, so a short market swing does not force a trade. Weigh commissions and taxes, because frequent trades can wipe out the benefit.
