About this App
When you swap currency with a private person or sell bitcoin directly, one question matters most: at what rate? The Yadio bot answers it in chat. Send a pair like USD BTC and get the rate. 📈
The bot is built around exchange rates, bitcoin charts and alerts. A separate branch of commands is made for Cuba, where the official rate differs sharply from the market one.
A one-minute start
Just write a currency pair, for example USD BTC, and the bot returns the rate. /help lists everything, and /lang changes the language.
- Open the bot and send /start.
- Type a currency pair or use /rate.
- For an amount, use /convert.
- /currencies shows the supported currencies.
Rates, converter and charts
- /rate: the rate for a currency pair.
- /exrates: all rates for one currency.
- /convert: convert an amount from one currency to another.
- /exchanges: the list of exchanges used for data.
- /graph: a bitcoin price chart.
- /candle: a candlestick chart with a selectable time window.
A candlestick chart helps when you want to see the range of price swings over a period, beyond the last price. 📊
Price and order alerts
/new_alert creates a price alert, and /my_alerts lists those you have set. The bot can also report on P2P orders in real time: send it an order ID. Tracked orders show up under /my_orders. 🔔
A calculator for P2P trades
If you post an offer on a P2P platform, it is handy to set the price as a premium or discount to the market rate. /prima calculates the margin you need to land on the target price.
You can set default currencies with /custom_from and /custom_to and check them with /settings, so you do not retype the pair every time.
The Cuba corner
/cu_help gathers useful commands for Cuba. There is a comparison against one payment service's rate and rates from the central bank. For a country with a dual rate system, this saves time.
When the official and informal rates are far apart, compare both, or you can easily overpay. 💱
There is a /premium plan and a /donate command where you can send sats or Stars. See the bot itself for the exact terms. The privacy policy opens with /privacy.
Keep in mind
The bot shows rate information, which is not investment advice. Bitcoin moves sharply, and the price in a P2P trade can differ from the reference rate. Check the numbers against the real price in your deal, and do not send money through someone else's links. ⚠️
