About this App
A photo of your dog, a funny screenshot, a short clip of a cat: all of it begs to become stickers, but the official Telegram path takes patience. Sticker Bot β reduces the work to a few commands. Its own description says it all: create and manage sticker sets without ads. 🐾
What the bot does
It creates and edits sticker and emoji sets. Photos, videos and GIFs become stickers or custom emoji, and then you tidy the collection: change emoji, delete extras.
The author runs it as an independent project. There are no ads during the work, which you notice after bots that squeeze banners between steps.
Commands at hand
- /new creates a new pack.
- /packs lists your packs.
- /change_emojis changes a sticker's emoji.
- /delete removes a sticker or emoji, and /deletepack deletes a whole pack.
- /original helps find the original sticker.
- /file downloads the sticker file.
- /author shows info about the pack and its author.
- /settings and /emoji configure the bot and the default emoji.
- /cancel aborts the current action.
Your first pack in a few steps
- Send /new and name the set.
- Send an image, video or GIF.
- Pick an emoji to attach to the sticker. It is how the sticker is found in a chat.
- Add more files or finish the set.
If you slip, /cancel steps you back and /delete removes an extra sticker.
Keep videos and GIFs for stickers short: the shorter the clip, the easier it fits the size limits and the more often people actually send it in chats. Long clips tire viewers and lag on weak phones.
Which images work
Telegram has technical requirements: a static sticker needs a transparent background, one side of 512 pixels and a small file size. Video and animation limits are tighter. The bot handles part of the work, but a sharp source still matters. 🖼
Cut the subject along its outline, leave margins and avoid tiny captions. A sticker is small on a phone screen and text gets lost.
Building a pack people want to scroll
Keep one theme: one hero, one emotion per sticker. A pack of ten distinct moods beats forty random pictures.
Choose emoji deliberately. Telegram suggests a sticker by its emoji when you type a smiley, so give a laughing sticker a laughing face, not the first one that comes to hand.
Review /packs once in a while and remove the weak stickers. A short, tidy set gets opened more often. ✂️
Your stickers, other people's rights
When you make stickers from other people's photos, memes and movie frames, remember copyright. A person's face is also better left out without consent. A private set for friends is one thing, a public set with someone else's picture is another. ⚖️
/original and /author help you see whose sticker you hold if you want to credit the creator.
Who it helps
People who regularly make stickers for a chat, channel or brand and are tired of extra taps. If you need one sticker a year, the official Telegram bot is enough.
