SUKAttachBot: Media for Long Posts

Uygulama hakkında

Açıklama henüz dilinizde mevcut değil, bu yüzden İngilizce gösteriliyor.

You wrote a big post for your channel, found a picture for it and hit a limit: the whole text does not fit into a media caption. SUKAttachBot is made for this situation. It attaches media to a long message so the post looks whole 📎

The purpose is clear from the name and from how this type of tool works. One open project with the same idea describes itself as "a bot to attach a media to a long message" and credits SUKAttachBot as the source of the idea.

The caption problem

A caption on a photo or video in Telegram is limited: 1024 characters for ordinary accounts. A plain text message holds much more, up to 4096 characters.

So authors of long posts must choose: a picture on top with trimmed text, or solid text with no picture. An attach bot removes the choice.

Who it helps

First of all, people who run a channel and publish analysis, news, announcements and roundups.

  • Channel authors: a long text stays whole and the picture sits in the usual place.
  • Shops and event posts: a product or event description does not have to be shortened.
  • Bloggers: photo reports with a detailed story look tidier.

How such bots usually work

The principle rests on link previews. The media is tied to the message as a link, and Telegram shows it as a picture above the text. The reader sees a single post, although technically it is text plus an attachment.

Check the details of this particular bot inside the app. Open it, press /start and follow the hints 🧭

What to check before using it

Attaching through a link has its own nuances, and it helps to know them in advance.

  1. Preview. If a reader has link previews turned off, the picture may not show.
  2. Look on different devices. Check the post on a phone and a computer.
  3. Media storage. Find out where the file lives, and do not send what you would not show strangers.
  4. Test in a closed channel. Publish the post first where nobody will see it.

Options without a bot

If the limit rarely gets in your way, built-in tools are enough. Split the post into two parts: a picture with a short caption, then the text right after. Or shorten the caption and move the rest to the comments.

Premium accounts get a wider caption limit, but you cannot count on that in a public channel, because most readers do not have it 💡

Protect your channel

Many bots ask for channel admin rights. Give exactly the rights needed for publishing and review the permission list. If a bot asks to delete messages or change members for no reason, decline.

Take the bot link only from official sources, not from private messages.

Sıkça sorulan sorular

What is SUKAttachBot for?▼
It helps attach a picture or video to a long message. An ordinary media caption is limited to 1024 characters, while a text message holds up to 4096. The bot removes that gap for publications.
Can I use it in a channel?▼
Bots of this kind are meant for channel posts. Give only the admin rights needed for publishing and test it in a closed channel first. Check the terms and commands in the bot itself.
Is the bot paid?▼
Check the terms and prices inside the app before paying, if it offers payment. Pay only in the official bot and never transfer money at the request of a private message.
What if the picture does not show?▼
The reader may have link previews turned off. Check the post on another device and try another media format. If that fails, split the post into a picture with a short caption and the text right after.
