Sang Anti Bot: Block Bots in Your Group

You build a group, and a week later strange "helpers" show up with ads, links and requests to tap a button. Somebody added a bot and walked away. Sang Anti Bot solves one problem: it kicks any bot that gets added to your group. 🚫

What exactly it does

The principle is spelled out in the bot's own profile: it removes bots added to the group after it is in place. The check happens every time a new bot is added.

One important note: bots that were in the group before you enabled protection are not affected. Whether to remove the old ones is up to you, by hand. ✅

Why a group needs bot protection

A stranger bot in a chat is not harmless. Here is what it can lead to:

Setting it up in a minute

1. Add Sang Anti Bot to your group.
2. Make it an admin with the right to remove members.
3. Check that the bots you want are already in the group, since protection will not touch them.
4. Ask a friend to add a test bot and see that it disappears.

Without the right to remove members the bot cannot kick strangers, so do not skip that step.

When it can get in your way

A strict rule is a strict rule. If you want to add a useful new bot yourself, for moderation or newsletters, Sang Anti Bot will remove that one too. 😅

In that case, turn protection off for a moment or take its admin rights away, add the bot you need, configure it and switch protection back on. Plan such changes in advance.

What this does not cover

It catches only newly added bots. It does not filter links from real people, fight raids or check newcomers. For that the group needs a separate moderator or chat manager. 🧰

Add simple rules too: limit who can add members, turn on slow mode and appoint a couple of trusted admins. Good order comes from several small measures.
